Cuando hablamos de dinero fiduciario, un verdadero emprendedor entiende que el dinero no está hecho principalmente para guardarse, sino para invertirse. Este conocimiento es una ventaja del emprendedor sobre la persona común, a quien se le enseña que el lugar más seguro para guardar el dinero es el banco, lo cual no es cierto.

Desde la perspectiva de una persona común, esto suena convincente, pero no es la misma visión que tiene un emprendedor, como puedo afirmar por mi propia experiencia en el mundo empresarial. Es tan convincente que algunos dirán que los ahorros son principalmente para el futuro, olvidando que el dinero ahorrado pierde valor gradualmente sin la gestión de su dueño.

Veámoslo desde este punto de vista: cada año, el costo de vida aumenta; en la mayoría de los casos, la apreciación es mucho mayor que la depreciación, y en la mayoría de los casos, ni siquiera eso. Además, otros gastos y comodidades aumentan mientras ahorras para todo esto, debido a la inflación. Sin embargo, como emprendedor que sabe administrar su dinero, prefiero invertirlo para ahorrar una gran cantidad que podría perder, lo cual sigue generando intereses.

Con lo que sucedió recientemente en mi país, Nigeria, si eres de los que ahorran, tu dinero ya no vale nada debido a la inflación que el país ha sufrido el último año. Es decir, el dinero en el banco se deprecia, y los bancos te dan un interés del 2% o, como mucho, del 3%, lo cual no vale nada. La inflación puede sumarle un 8% o más, lo que resulta en una tremenda pérdida de ahorros, ya sean personales o de cualquier tipo.

Según mi amiga, que ahorró más de 10 millones de nairas en 2019, con un plan de inversión a 5 años, ¿sabías que la inflación que azotó mi país desplomó el valor de su inversión? Si hubiera sido una inversión, debería haber generado más ganancias de las esperadas. En los últimos 4 años, no ha tenido nada que recuperar. El año pasado me contó todo; eso demuestra lo perjudicial que puede ser ahorrar.

Según uno de los hombres más ricos de África, en una entrevista, los más ricos no guardan el dinero en ahorros; en cambio, optan por la alternativa: invertir en activos que se revalorizan. Esto demuestra que el dinero crece cuando se invierte y no cuando se guarda en un banco. Además, invertir te motiva a emprender, ya sea a pequeña o gran escala.

Por eso, me complace compartir esto: vale la pena invertir en diferentes empresas estatales, tanto online como offline. Recuerda que el objetivo final es ganar dinero, y será bueno que lo uses bien para ganar más. Ten presente que el dinero guardado en el banco es como un coche de lujo en un carruaje que no se mueve. When we talk about money, which is known as fiat, a real entrepreneur understands that money is not mainly to be kept but to be invested, which is the knowledge the entrepreneur has over the ordinary man who is not an entrepreneur and who is taught that the safest place to keep money is in the bank, which it is not.

With a layman's understanding, it sounds convincing, but that is not the same insight an entrepreneur also has, which I can tell you from my own experience based on business. It is convincing to the extent that some will say that savings are mainly for the future, forgetting that money which is saved gradually loses its value without the owner's concept.

Aside from that, other bills and amenities increase while you save up money for all this, which is caused by inflation, but for me, as an entrepreneur who understands how to manage money, I will decide to invest that to save a huge amount of money that could have lost, which keeps on yielding interesting for me.

With that which happened to my country recently in Nigeria, if you are one of the people who save by now, your money has no value because of the inflation that the country has now encountered in the past year.
