That's Probably The Smoothest
So thank you for that. And you are inspiring people, bro. And I wrote a poem about that yesterday. Write louder. Write louder. You're a door opener, man. Beautiful. Yeah, I feel like I've been writing my whole life and just not actually writing it down. I walked around all through childhood, all through my life, rhyming things in my head that no one else could hear.
And now I'm just writing them down. But for those of you that are just meeting me, and that's why I did this piece first, was kind of that introduction to further the, I don't know, the coarseness of this whole adventure. I'm dyslexic. I hadn't, until just a couple of years ago, read anything aloud, anything other than to my children, since fourth grade. But I'm trying to lean into this all the way. Put all my emotion and what I felt when I write it into the actual rendition itself when it comes out.

And that's probably the smoothest I've ever done that piece. It felt good. It felt natural. And to put that into context, I wrote it about two years ago, and this was the first piece that I read aloud since fourth grade. And I read it, I try to keep in mind the way, or remember, the way that I would read stories to my children. Because, you know, you're not worried about your kids hearing you stumble or mispronounce a word or anything like that. You're just trying to make it an adventure for them.
So I try to read with that same passion that I read to my kids when I'm reading my pieces. And there's a few other real deep ones to come, but maybe if I'm able to stay long enough, I'll have time to get to one of my more creative works that I just did recently. That's just fun and upbeat, still with a message. Everything's got a message, otherwise what would be the point? But all that to say that this is personal growth for me too.
It's pushing through probably the biggest boundary I've ever found in my life, which is reading, and more importantly, reading aloud and writing itself.
I spell everything jacked up. At the end of the day, I have to feed what I write into AI and say, "Fix my grammar, my punctuation, and so on, my spelling, of course." Because I know that if it's not spelled the way it sounds.
