Hello, dear Hive Music Festival community! I am Reyna Flores, known by many as @lcampesina. Today I want to share with you a piece of my heart and the music that fills us with emotions.

As few know, I am learning to play the cuatro, an instrument that fascinates me. But while I continue practicing with the strings, I have decided to accompany myself with my maracas. Because the rhythm runs in our blood and learning does not stop us!

Today I bring you a song that is an anthem of romantic vallenato: "¡Ay Ombe!". This beautiful melody is performed by the great Jorge Celedón, accompanied by the accordion of Jimmy Zambrano. Jorge not only sings this song but is also its composer, showing his talent for touching feelings with his lyrics.

The theme of "¡Ay Ombe!" is pure heartbreak. It talks about that deep pain and the nostalgia we feel when a relationship ends. It is a sigh of resignation and sadness that we have all experienced at some point. The expression "¡Ay Ombe!" is very Caribbean and perfectly captures that feeling of loss.

My interpretation of this song will be accompanied by my maracas, as they allow me to keep the beat while I put all my feeling into the lyrics. Although I am still practicing my chords on the cuatro, I want to continue sharing music with you. Music has a special power to unite us, and I am excited to do it through this song.
