Within the petals frolicking with zeal,
Folding and unfolding,
Vibrating in a web of joy.
The thought made flesh and pollen
Strung like string to a loom
An artifice of seed beginnings
That unbroken carried onward
The promise of primordial blooms.

From the one sprang the budding chaos
A myriad possibilities and their forms revealed,
As winged suitors eager in the season
With receptors of the senses tuned,
From dusk to dawn they searched
Among the fertile gardens where they bathed,
Until they had their wanting filled.

Bless the morning sun
That rises bright and early;
So the dance begins anew,
Like the motions of a wheel
Stirring
Spinning
Alive!
In the perfumed atmosphere.
