Good afternoon, my dear friends at #Hive. Happy Tuesday to all of you. I hope you are doing well and having a great week. Once again, your friend Manuel here is super happy to bring you a new artistic post for my blog. This time, I'm here to continue the dynamic proposed by my dear friends in the #Holozing community. That's right, I'm referring to the #Zingtober dynamic, which is now on its 21st day and is almost in its final stretch. In this case, the word for today is (BLAST), which translates as explosion, and the idea that came to me was to illustrate the Healer of Light as if she were a kind of scientist who, while preparing a mixture of chemicals, obtained a very explosive reaction... I hope you like it a lot, and here I will show you a little of the process behind this work:

Muy buenas tardes mi queridísima gente de #Hive, feliz martes para todos ustedes y espero que se encuentren super bien y que estén pasando una excelente semana, por aquí los saluda una vez mas su amigo Manuel super feliz de poder traerles n nuevo post artístico para mi blog. En esta oportunidad vengo a darle continuación a la dinámica propuesta por mis queridos amigos de la comunidad de #Holozing, así es, me refiero a la dinámica del #Zingtober la cual va ya por el día 21 y que se encuentra casi en su recta final; en este caso la palabra correspondiente para hoy es (BLAST), la cual se traduce como explosión, y la idea que se me ocurrió fue ilustrar a la Sanadora de la luz como si esta fuese una especie de científica la cual preparando una mezcla de químicos obtuvo una reacción muy explosiva…espero les guste micho y aquí les mostrare un poco del proceso de este obra:

The first thing I do in all my illustrations is to start with some basic strokes that help me define the idea I have in mind. In this case, as I mentioned before, I wanted to draw the Healer of Light as if she were in a chemical laboratory, holding a container in her hand that looked as if it were about to explode. With the sketch finished, I moved on to the next step, which was coloring. In this case, I stuck to the same gray tones, starting with a very light gray for the skin. I like to work on the skin using only an airbrush when it comes to female characters.

Lo primero que hago en todas mis ilustraciones es iniciar con algunos trazos básicos que me ayuden a definir un poco la idea que tengo en mente, en este caso como les comenté antes quise dibujar a la Sanadora de la luz como si estuviese en un laboratorio químico y en su mano sostuviese un recipiente el cual pareciera esta a punto de explotar. Con el boceto terminado me pasé al siguiente apartado que seria el apartado del coloreado, en este caso me mantuve una la misma línea de grises, partiendo por un gris muy claro para la piel, en este caso me gusta trabajar la piel solamente con el aerógrafo cuando se trata de personajes femeninos.

For the second stage, I focused on the character's facial expression. In this case, I wanted the Light Healer to have an expression of surprise or fear, since the bottle she is holding in her hand is about to explode. So, using dark intermediate grays, I created a fairly large iris with slightly dilated pupils. I also painted her mouth open to further convey that expression of surprise or fear on the character's face. For the hair, I used lighter grays, trying to create long, slightly wavy hair with a lot of shine around the edges.

Para la 2da etapa me ocupe de la expresión del rostro del personaje, en este caso quise que la Sanadora de la luz tuviese una expresión de sorpresa o susto ya que el frasco que sostiene en su mano esta apunto de explotar, entonces con grises intermedio oscuros me encargue de crear un iris bastante grande con las pupilas un poco dilatadas; también en el caso de la boca la pinte abierta para transmitir aún más esa expresión de sorpresa o susto en el rostro del personaje. En el caso del pelo use grises mas claros tratando de formar una cabellera larga y un poco ondulada con bastantes brillos en los bordes.

In the case of the clothing, I kept the classic design of the Light Healer, as it closely resembles a lab coat or gown. Here, I also used light grays for the base and kept the gold details characteristic of this character in the bust and neck area. Then, for the container, I decided to use a light medium gray, but slightly lowering the opacity of the layer to achieve transparency. Next, using a dark gray, I created what would be the liquid inside the bottle and painted some white dots to resemble bubbles. Finally, I decided to create a scientific laboratory setting with a dark gray chalkboard hanging on the wall, as well as a large table with bottles similar to the one the Healer is holding in her hand.

En el caso de la ropa mantuve el diseño clásico de la Sanadora de la luz, ya que su trate se asemeja mucho a un traje o bata de laboratorio, igualmente aquí use grises claros para la base, y los detalles de oro característicos de este personaje los mantuve en la zona del busto y cuello. Luego para el recipiente decidí usar un gris intermedio claro, pero bajando levemente la opacidad de la capa para lograr transparencia; después con un gris oscuro cree lo que seria el liquido en el interior del frasco pintado algunos puntos blancos que se asemejaran a unas burbujas. Finalmente, se me ocurrió crear un escenario de laboratorio científico con una pizarra colgada en la pared con grises oscuros; pero también una gran mesa con frascos similares al que la Sanadora lleva en su mano.
