Hey Actifitters,

I had planned a run yesterday, so we started our daily walk earlier than usual. It started like pretty much any day though, behind the front yard.

Kaia is definitely getting closer to her normal self, she was trying to get us to go deeper in the forest.

But after the yellowjackets incident a few weeks ago, I'm still reluctant to go there, so we went to the bigger forest instead.

Dogs can't talk, but I could hear what she was thinking: 'Why the hell are we stopping? There's trails to walk and critters to chase...'

And so we did of course.

Talking about critters, we found this big buck looking at us from the middle of the trail.

Close up time:

We tried our sunset spot, but it was a bit early and clouds were in the way anyways.

So Kaia led us back out of the forest.

More wildlife on the way back. This squirrel didn't even acknowledge us, it kept eating.

Like I said, a run was planned next. It went okay, a little over 10k again, but a bit faster than past time, simply because I didn't walk. Still lots of work before being ready for the half marathon though. But we should be fine with the time left before the race.
Final step count was enough to stay in the #poprzeczka competition August session a little longer. Yay!!
