Sopa de Arvejas con Costilla de Res 🥣🥣🥣 Pea Soup with Beef Short Ribs

Feliz día amigos del buen comer en @foodiesbeehive. En casa nos encantan los granos en sus diversas presentaciones y preparaciones, estos son muy nutritivos, completos y representan una fuente de proteínas maravillosa, Las Arvejas son unos de los que poco compro y no se porque ya que a todos nos fascina . Este fin de semana compramos y preparamos una rica sopa aprovechando que tenemos unas costillas de res en casa. Ahora les cuento como la hice.
Happy day friends of good eating at @foodiesbeehive. At home we love grains in their various presentations and preparations, these are very nutritious, complete and represent a wonderful source of protein, Peas are one of the few I buy and I don't know why since we all love them. This weekend we bought and prepared a delicious soup taking advantage of the fact that we have some beef ribs at home. Now I'll tell you how I made it.
- 1/2 Medio kilo de Arvejas verdes.
- 1 Kilo de costillas de res.
- 1 y 1/2 kg de verduras.
- 1 plátano.
- Cebolla, Cebollín, ají dulce y apio España.
- Sal y Ajo.
- 1/2 half a kilo of green peas.
- 1 kilo of beef ribs.
- 1 and 1/2 kg of vegetables.
- 1 plantain.
- Onion, chives, sweet pepper and celery Spain.
- Salt and garlic.
Comenzamos llevando al fuego el medio kilo de arvejas. Estas la noche anterior la dejé remojando y en la mañana las puse a cocinar hasta que estuvieran blandas, pasada aproximadamente una hora agregué las costilla para que también se ablandaran y fuesen largando su sabor junto con los granos.
We start by putting the half kilo of peas on the fire. I left them soaking the night before and in the morning I put them to cook until they were soft. After about an hour I added the ribs so that they would also soften and release their flavour together with the beans.
Cuando sentimos floja la arveja y la carne, agregamos la verdura y esperamos que ablande.
When the peas and meat feel loose, add the vegetables and wait for them to soften.
Mientras, cortamos los aliños en trozos pequeños y lo llevamos a sofreír comenzando con la cebolla y el ajo que el olor mientras están cocinando es divino, y seguido agregamos los ajíes, luego ajo machacado y sal. Cuando estuvo al punto y la verdura a ablandado agregamos el sofrito y ramas de apio españa.
Meanwhile we cut the seasonings into small pieces and fry them, starting with the onion and garlic, the smell while they are cooking is divine, and then we add the chilli peppers, then crushed garlic and salt. When it was ready and the vegetables had softened, we added the sofrito and the celery sticks.
Dejamos incorporar sabores y pasados unos 4 minutos agregamos el plátano cortado en rodajas, esperamos quince minutos y apagamos.
Let the flavours incorporate and after about 4 minutes add the sliced plantain, wait fifteen minutes and turn off.
Servimos y disfrutamos esta deliciosa sopa de arvejas con costilla de res que como ven es muy sencilla de hacer.
Serve and enjoy this delicious pea soup with beef ribs, which as you can see is very easy to make.
I was hoping to have some soup left and save it for another day but even though the pot was full this soup was sold out hahaha. I hope you liked it friends, see you soon.

3 commentsI love pea soup, my mother usually makes it from time to time and when I visit her she gives me some. Although it has another style of preparation, this one you make caught my attention as it looks delicious. By the way as a kind suggestion it would be interesting that when you have the opportunity you support the work of other fellow hivers, so we all grow together in this blockchain thing. Greetings!
