Things have been through this year
Greetings everyone!
I’m truly glad to take part in this week’s IndiaUnited prompt.
First of all, I want to thank God for giving me the opportunity to see this year. It is not by my power that I have been able to achieve the things I achieved God’s grace has been my strength. Even though things did not go exactly as I planned, I can boldly say that I accomplished at least half of my goals from January till now.
This year is a year of testimony for me. One of my greatest achievements is becoming a graduate of the Federal University Oye Ekiti. The journey was far from easy. There were days when I had nothing to eat, and there were times when paying my rent felt almost impossible. But despite all the struggles, I kept moving forward. Now that I have graduated, I can boldly say that things have begun to change for me gradually.
I also invested in some businesses like forex and stocks. As everyone knows, these businesses involve risks. Yet, by God’s grace, they have favored me in ways I didn’t even expect.
This year has prepared and shaped me for the years ahead. I learned many lessons some the easy way, and some the hard way. One major lesson is that you must help yourself before expecting anyone else to help you. Life isn’t a bed of roses, and waiting for others won’t get you far.
Another lesson this year taught me is the importance of hard work. Many people keep hoping things will work out one day, but hope without effort leads nowhere. I’ve realized that to achieve anything meaningful, you must put in the work, and this mindset has helped me greatly throughout the year.
Overall, this year has been one of the best for me. It opened my eyes to many truths and helped me understand myself better. The most valuable lesson it taught me is to rely on God alone. Humans may promise and fail, but God remains faithful and keeps His promises.
Thank you for reading.
Picture is mine.
