I never really gave it so much thought, not until people started started talking about it and how it is that I hear them as no one would. I do the little I can in my WhatsApp and along the line, people began pouring out their minds and all. And I find myself giving responses in such a way that it calmed their troubled minds. I didn't really began in order to reach such a audience or to start doing what I do now, no. I just started it back then to hear what I would have loved someone say to me, or what I would have loved to see or hear.

Well, it happened along the line when I was sick, and after recovery I began. I began it because life has shown me shege, and from my experience I have knowledge about a lot of things, it was illness for me, but it took long and during all those times, I learnt a lot of things about life and a lot of things that are applicable to every day life. I experienced mine via sickness, someone else is experiencing theirs via failed marriage, unemployment, heartbreak and a lot more. And I had become that person who listens, who shows up and who helps calm their troubled mind,ms, even without being there physically.

And I can tell you for free that it isn't in anyway easy. I'm still young, I'm still learning and I face life too. I just had to find my way around so as to balance things, I had to share even certain stories of mine that I'm not so comfortable saying in order to let the other person know he/she is not alone, that I can very well relate, that it's just a phase and that it shall pass. There are some messages that I will see at times and first take time to ponder on it before even giving a response because of how deep, saddening, heartbreaking, or weighty it may be.

People always tell me that I have my way with words, that there's a way I do my things that makes it look as if it's easy, like it comes naturally and such. I don't know if it's your regular kind of skill/talent, but then, that's mine. And it has really helped me see life and people in a different way, it has helped me to be a deep thinker, it has helped me to study more, it has helped me to grow as well while making me feel more confident each day. And I've noticed myself now being kind of very attentive and noticing every single thing, trying to hear beyond the voice I'm hearing, trying to see beyond the smiley face I'm seeing.

Most of the times, it's via writing, and through it I've been able to build good friendships, touch lives, learn and at the same time grow as well.
