Tenía tiempo sin pasearme por esta oportunidad y es que, sí, tuve un poco abandonado mi cuaderno de dibujo durante Octubre porque me centré en otras cosas s nivel creativo, pero lo bueno es que estoy de regreso con un poco de arte terapia en estas hojas en blanco.

Inconscientemente retorné a los patrones de pétalos de hojas y recogiendo tonalidades amarillas, naranjas y marrones muy acordes a la época otoñal. Para el primero de estos patrones empleé mayormente mis marcadores negros de punta punta, específicamente el de 0.1, 0.3 y 0.5 mm para mayor precisión en los trazos. El color que empleé para el relleno fue el #28 (Fruit Pink) que no había usado antes y me dio un poco de curiosidad probarlo. Mi mejor amigo que me comentó que este diseño se le asemejaba a una mariposa monarca. En un inicio no lo vi de esa manera, pero luego de que me hizo ese comentario terminé encontrando la similitud.

El segundo diseño creo que fue mi favorito y el que también más tiempo me consumió. Los colores que empleé fueron el #28 (Fruit Pink), #91 (Natural Oak), #93 (Burnt Orange), #103 (Potato Brown), #140 (Light Orange). No quedé muy satisfecha con el tono Natural Oak, pues resultó ser mucho más oscuro de lo que yo quería pero creo que al menos el degradé de colores quedó bien.

It's been a while since I've had the opportunity to visit this site and, yes, I had a little bit abandoned my sketchbook during October because I was focused on other things on a creative level, but the good thing is that I'm back with some art therapy on these blank leaves.

Unconsciously I returned to the leaf petal patterns and picking up yellow, orange and brown shades very much in keeping with the autumn season. For the first of these patterns I used mostly my black sharp point markers, specifically the 0.1, 0.3 and 0.5 mm for greater precision in the strokes. The color I used for the filler was #28 (Fruit Pink) which I hadn't used before and was a little curious to try it out. My best friend told me that this design resembled a monarch butterfly. At first I didn't see it that way, but after she made that comment I ended up finding the similarity.

The second design I think was my favorite and also the most time consuming. The colors I used were #28 (Fruit Pink), #91 (Natural Oak), #93 (Burnt Orange), #103 (Potato Brown), #140 (Light Orange). I wasn't very satisfied with the Natural Oak shade, as it turned out to be much darker than I wanted but I think at least the color gradient looked good.
