The whole video didn't want to work for me. We have storms here with high winds and rain so reception may be difficult. But I got the idea that you found the conversation inspiring, what's happening on Hive is not isolated, we are not the only chain struggling and wondering how to make ends meet in these times, we have a lot going for us, essentially people who are willing to contribute (I would add the underlying technology) and multiple ways to do that.

I'm in two minds about the duplication thing, I'm not sure there's any harm in having more than one way or app to do a job, it's kind of risk mediation. From time to time we seem to have various directories, and @alonicus has this spreadsheet of apps which I'm sure he would add to if a request was left in the comments.

It took me a while to get on that call as there was a limit of 25 people. Crim is always good value as she has obviously thought deeply about Hive and had to answer lots of questions about it. We still have plenty of people who want to make it work.

We do need people building apps around Hive and duplication is not really an issue if it means they are learning. We need more knowledge sharing. I have done some little things like my bot and the country lists, but those are just for fun.

I think we need more people to know that Hive is a cool platform to build on. Is there much to match it for speed, cost (lack of) and freedom?

I haven't been doing as much as I wanted to be honest. But you all have been doing what I can say, "you are the warriors for now"... I can't complain, and I can even really curate sometimes...

Time lapses so fast in some layers that it's hard to keep curating everywhere. So, the ultimate objective because of this is to teach people this genRA about Hive and to onboard them with that expectation.

I know people will be looking for money... but ultimate core principles will be here. That's my belief.

If that's going to be our doom or not, I am willing to be on it to help either influence it or shape it in the near future.
