Mi nombre es Mileidy Castañeda Díaz, vivo en La Habana, Cuba y tengo 54 años, este año cumplo mis 55. Soy graduada de Bachiller y cursé la carrera de Comercio Interior la cual ejercí por 31 años, hasta que mis padres enfermaron en el año 2021 y tuve que dejar mi empleo y dedicarme a sus cuidados, de conjunto con una de mis hermanas.

My name is Mileidy Castañeda Díaz. I live in Havana, Cuba, and I am 54 years old; I will turn 55 this year. I am a high school graduate and studied Internal Commerce, a profession I practiced for 31 years, until my parents fell ill in 2021 and I had to leave my job to care for them, together with one of my sisters.

Amo a los animales, tengo un gato y una jicotea que era de mi padre y me tocó quedarme con ella. He tenido perros pero casi siempre he tenido gatos, de echo este es mi octavo gato, me gusta mucho la tranquilidad que transmiten los felinos y lo cariñosos que son a pesar de los mitos que existen en contra de estos lindos animalitos.

I love animals. I have a cat and a Cuban slider turtle that belonged to my father, and I ended up keeping it. I have had dogs, but I have almost always had cats; in fact, this is my eighth cat. I really like the tranquility that felines transmit and how affectionate they are, despite the myths that exist against these lovely little animals.

Me encanta hacer ejercicios, desde mi juventud me gusta ir al gimnasio y hace un año me inscribí en las clases de Taichi, que las practico como a veinte cuadras de mi casa, en estos momentos no estoy asistiendo por motivos de trabajo, pero espero retomar las clases muy pronto.

I love exercising. Since my youth, I have enjoyed going to the gym, and a year ago I signed up for Tai Chi classes, which I practice about twenty blocks from my house. Right now, I am not attending due to work reasons, but I hope to resume the classes very soon.

También amo leer tanto digital como en libros, la lectura es muy buena para el desarrollo de la imaginación, la ortografía también se mejora con la lectura. Desde que mis niños nacieron les inculqué ese hábito y cada noche antes de dormir no podía faltarles un cuento y hasta tres.

I also love reading, both digitally and in books. Reading is excellent for developing imagination, and spelling also improves with reading. Since my children were born, I instilled this habit in them, and every night before sleeping, they couldn't go without one story, and even up to three.

Realizo caminatas diarias y me gusta socializar, en mi país socializamos mucho, donde quiera que hay un cubano siempre nos reconocen porque somos muy conversadores. Yo amo hacer nuevos amigos, conocer de otros países, de otras culturas.

I go for daily walks and I enjoy socializing. In my country, we socialize a lot; wherever there is a Cuban, we are always recognized because we are very talkative. I love making new friends, learning about other countries and other cultures.

Mi deseo en esta blockchain es conocer de otras tradiciones, hacer nuevos amigos, compartir conocimientos y muchas otras cosas que me ayuden a enriquecer mi vida y la de otros.
