You remember when we first met, yeah? We were first friends, and I remember how you'd always advise me, take me through lessons on Chemistry in preparation for my exams.

And then, you became a mentor, one so true and caring. You taught me to be passionate about growth.

Then, we became best friends. I remember how we would spend time together, laughing, and how you were a shoulder for me to lean on, and how you encouraged me.

Gradually, my heart would dance at your sight and each time I heard your voice, my ears felt like they were listening to a soothing melody.

"Could this be love?" I had asked myself, but I even wanted to deny it.

I remember after my dad left, how you stood by me, how you made me feel protected, how you showered me with care, how you didn't want to see a tear drop from my eyes. That was when I knew you could stand as a father figure. Sweet, I loved you even more and was willing to do more with you.
