This is my entry for the #monomad challenge.

Happy New Year to all, dear friends of the community and lovers of black and white photography. I hope you had a wonderful end of the year and shared it with all your loved ones. I want to start the year by sharing some photos I took at my last freestyle event; I hope you enjoy them.

Feliz año nuevo para todos, queridos amigos de la comunidad y amantes de la fotografía en blanco y negro. Espero que hayan tenido un excelente fin de año y compartido con todos sus seres queridos. Quiero empezar el año compartiendo unas fotografías que hice en mi último evento de freestyle; espero que las disfruten.

I hadn't been able to attend any freestyle events for several months, either because the venue was a bit far away or because the time made it difficult for me to take photos, but luckily I was able to attend one before the end of the year. I took several portraits that I really liked, and although there wasn't much movement captured, I found these moments to be key.

Llevaba varios meses que no conseguía ir a eventos de freestyle, ya fuese porque el lugar me quedaba un poco lejos o porque por la hora se me hacía difícil hacer fotos, pero por suerte pude asistir a uno antes de finalizar el año, hice varios retratos que me gustaron bastante y, aunque no fue tanta captura de movimiento, estos momentos me parecieron clave.

I always try to capture the essence of the moment, but in these portraits I think it was something different, a calmer atmosphere, while maintaining both the euphoria of the competitors and the patience of those who listen calmly to what is happening.

Siempre intento capturar la esencia del momento, pero en estos retratos creo que fue algo distinto, un ambiente más tranquilo, pero manteniendo esa euforia tanto de los competidores como la paciencia de aquellos quienes escuchan con tranquilidad lo que sucede.
