You’re perfect
Warblers are countless… just imagine that in the Americas there are between 117 and 126 species of the Parulidae family, and in Eurasia, Africa and Oceania there are approximately 350 of the Sylviidae family. I had to turn to the wise sources in this universe of birds, because I’ve only heard in some conversations with the youngsters at the ringing station that there are so many, even hybrids… it’s complicated.
This warbler is perfect for me! Friendly, playful, amusing… It was right there in the guava tree and we shared a delightful moment together, while it made that beautiful sound of its call, and I looked like a tumbler trying to find the best angle to capture a decent photo. 😁
You are perfect and restless too, aren’t you?
I’m sorry… there won’t be a birdhouse in my post, for they already have the great natural home that surrounds me: mango trees, banana plantations, coconut palms, and my window.
These birds sing by my window in the mornings, and also in the afternoons when, bathed and perfumed after a hectic day, I relax with a stroll outside—around the house or through the neighbourhood—where I always meet people who smile and joke.
Today I took my camera and got so distracted in the side passage of my house… 😅 that the smiles and banter with neighbours and acquaintances passing by were shared from home.
Oh yes, at last… this is the photo. When the wind ruffled its little feathers. That made me smile.
This Common Ground Dove (Columbina passerina) also came when she saw us in our playful game of ‘I saw you… oh, where have you gone…? hey, there you are again!’ 😂
There is so much intelligence around us… it’s enough to look closely, enjoy, and flow.
‘You are perfect too,’ I told the dove. Tomorrow we shall meet again, for I will continue gardening. There is still much to do, and these birds always keep me company.

7 commentsBoth birds are beautiful, captured almost magically in your delicate photos. The accompanying text is very nice. Best regards, @nanixxx.
😄 ¡Gracias!
