A Little Cat Inspired by Kindness
Oh hello there my creative friends today I wanted to share a quick little drawing I made. Recently I saw a lovely post by @artofkylin from the Draw A Day community. She invited everyone who wanted their cat drawn to simply reply with a photo, so I sent a picture of my cat Max and hoped for the best. When she drew him I was really happy, it felt like such a kind and creative gesture.
That moment stayed with me for a while, and today it gave me the urge to draw a cat of my own. This little fellow here isn’t really Max and he isn’t meant to be any particular cat. I was just enjoying the idea of drawing a cat again, letting the pen wander a bit. Somehow he ended up walking along with a tiny bug friend floating nearby, maybe they are chatting about something important and the bug echoes the recent dress up a bug contest by @allyson19 which was inspired by the #bugart of @artofkylin
I think small moments like this are what make art communities special. Someone shares a kind idea, and suddenly it inspires others to create something too. So thank you @artofkylin for the lovely drawing of Max and for the inspiration today.
And thank you as always for stopping by my creative friends. I hope this encourages you to pick up a pen and draw something small today too.
