I am 25 years old and a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Financial Management. I am proud to say that, at a very young age, I graduated college and directly look for a job opportunity. It was a hard decision for me knowing that being a young girl will have to go to a battle alone and live the best as she can. I am currently working in a big company in Cebu City, a hospital. I am a Procurement Officer for 5 years now and I am so thankful that I had this job for it always talking and conversing to other people that can make me build more relationship with them. My mother works hard as a laborer, selling fruits and food under the scorching sun, while my father does nothing but drink alcohol. I’ve witnessed my mother’s incredible hard work. She struggles daily to send us to school, often borrowing money from our neighbors just to make it happen. Despite her challenges, she always finds a way to buy us milk, even when money is tight. Seeing my mother’s struggle to provide for our family made me desire to create a better life for myself and my loved ones. About Me: Each one of us has a story to tell. Allow me to introduce myself. I am Ruelyn Mañus, a freshman college student majoring in psychology. I live in the northern part of Cebu, Philippines. I am a pure Filipino with no mixed blood. I was raised in a broken family where I never got the chance to see my biological father. I grew up with no difficulties, for there were people who supported me along the way, never making me feel like an outcast of the family. I lived with my grandma till I reached the age of 12. My grandma was my second mother, who took care of me since I was just an infant child. She was there beside me, supporting every decision and never lacking in loving me truly. Somehow, my grandma passed away in March 2023. She was someone dear to me. I am a consistent honor student since high school, My favorite subject would be math and english, I love math because it may have some complications yet I love looking for a way for it to be solved. I love English because besides the fact that it is a universal language which mostly people around the world speak- it helps me write this short intro biography, stories and so much more in day-to-day stuffs.
