Reflexiones de año nuevo | New Year's reflections
Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un nuevo post bastante genial, esta vez de unas reflexiones que he querido escribir debido a que se acaba el año, y aunque estoy acostumbrada a un tipo específico de contenido donde subo fotos y de hecho, al principio pensé en hacer un recuento de todo lo que ha sido mi año, pero por cosas de la vida preferí hacer un post como los que hacía desde hace años cuando comencé en esta plataforma, donde siempre dejaba explotar mi imaginación y que las palabras salga. Aún soy así, me gusta mucho escribir y contarles las cosas que pasan por mi cabeza, y esta no es la excepción. Este año fue muy reflexivo, aprendí y crecí tanto que creo que un solo post hablando de eso no sería suficiente, ya que aprendí muchas cosas que estoy ejerciendo en mi vida diaria.
Hello again! Today I come to you with a pretty cool new post, this time with some reflections I wanted to write because the year is coming to an end. Although I'm used to a specific type of content where I upload photos, and in fact, at first I thought about doing a recap of my whole year, but due to circumstances, I preferred to write a post like the ones I used to write years ago when I started on this platform, where I always let my imagination run wild and let the words flow. I'm still like that, I really enjoy writing and telling you about the things that go through my mind, and this is no exception. This year was very reflective. I learned and grew so much that I don't think a single post talking about it would be enough, since I learned many things that I am applying in my daily life.
El año pasado, en los últimos dos meses conseguí trabajo y fue algo que de verdad me alegró muchísimo. Al principio realmente estaba ilusionada, parecía una niña con juguete nuevo ya que nunca había tenido un trabajo de ese estilo, pero realmente tuve un choque de realidad al ver que no era tan fácil como pensaba. Esto no es algo negativo ya que me gusta mi trabajo, solo que tengo que tomarmelo con muchísima seriedad y dedicación. Además de que estaba teniendo algunos problemas con personas que en general hacían que el ambiente de trabajo no fuese el mejor, pero a veces las cosas pasan por una buena razón, a esas personas las cambiaron y en general, muchas cosas cambiaron para bien en mi trabajo, a su vez que logré obtener más trabajos extra para complementar lo que gano en mi trabajo fijo. Actualmente estoy muy cómoda y satisfecha con mi crecimiento laboral.
Last year, in the last two months, I got a job, and it was something that really made me very happy. At first, I was really excited, like a kid with a new toy, since I had never had a job like that before, but I really had a reality check when I saw that it wasn't as easy as I thought. This isn't a negative thing, since I like my job, it's just that I have to take it very seriously and be very dedicated. In addition, I was having some problems with people who generally made the work environment less than ideal, but sometimes things happen for a good reason. Those people were replaced, and in general, many things changed for the better at my job. At the same time, I managed to get more extra work to supplement what I earn at my regular job. I am currently very comfortable and satisfied with my professional growth.
Este año, específicamente en mayo falleció el primer gatito que adopté, Yoshi. El año pasado me decidí en adoptar un gato y fui tan insistente que rescaté uno hermoso al cual nombré como Yoshi, poco despues llegó Remy, un gatito que llegó de improvisto en una cajita con sus hermanitas, todos recién nacidos y me dediqué arduamente a cuidarlo. El año pasado fue un lindo año pero al finalizar, Yoshi terminó muy enfermo, y aunque parecía mejorar, otras veces recaía hasta fallecer en mayo de este año. Fue duro, me dolió mucho ya que año y medio antes perdí a Misty y no fue sencillo. Sin embargo poco después llegó Jade a hacerle compañía a Remy e iluminarnos la vida, y ahora está Lia, ambas gatas llegaron sorpresivamente pero son lo más hermoso. Estoy feliz de que Remy tenga unas compañeras maravillosas luego de perder a su primer amigo, y sé que Yoshi, esté donde esté, está feliz de que le dimos mucho amor y le damos más amor a animalitos como él.
This year, specifically in May, the first kitten I adopted, Yoshi, passed away. Last year, I decided to adopt a cat and was so persistent that I rescued a beautiful one whom I named Yoshi. Shortly after, Remy arrived, a kitten who came unexpectedly in a little box with his sisters, all newborns, and I devoted myself to caring for him. Last year was a beautiful year, but at the end of it, Yoshi became very ill. Although he seemed to be getting better, he relapsed and passed away in May of this year. It was hard; it hurt a lot because a year and a half earlier, I had lost Misty, and it wasn't easy. However, shortly after, Jade arrived to keep Remy company and brighten up our lives, and now there is Lia. Both cats arrived unexpectedly, but they are the most beautiful things. I am happy that Remy has wonderful companions after losing his first friend, and I know that Yoshi, wherever he is, is happy that we gave him so much love and that we give more love to animals like him.
El logro más importante para mí en este año fue retomar mi carrera universitaria en la licenciatura de Geografía. Hace tiempo comenté que abandoné mi carrera, sentía que no era lo mío y no me encontraba a mi misma. Quería probar con la música en el ámbito laboral y no salió bien, pero al probar el área ambiental que es lo que tiene que ver con lo que estudio, todo se dió tan fácil que sentí que era una señal. Tenía miedo debido a que al irme tanto tiempo (4 años) no iba poder retomar nada bien, sin embargo al seguir el ritmo e las clases, leer cosas para refrescar conocimientos y ser aplicada, me fue excelente. Estoy muy contenta de los resultados de mi esfuerzo en la universidad, de reunirme con mis amigos y de poder lograr que trabajar y estudiar no sea tan difícil. Estoy muy feliz de haber logrado retomar la universidad.
The most important achievement for me this year was resuming my university studies in geography. Some time ago, I mentioned that I had dropped out of my degree program because I felt that it wasn't right for me and I couldn't find myself. I wanted to try working in music, but it didn't work out. However, when I tried the environmental field, which is related to what I studied, everything came so easily that I felt it was a sign. I was afraid that because I had been away for so long (four years), I wouldn't be able to pick up where I left off, but by keeping up with the pace of the classes, reading things to refresh my knowledge, and applying myself, I did excellently. I am very happy with the results of my efforts at university, with getting together with my friends, and with being able to make working and studying not so difficult. I am very happy to have been able to return to university.
Hay cosas este año que no hice, sobre todo en esta plataforma que me ha dado tanto. Desde que comencé a estudiar y trabajar descuidé un poco la creación de contenido, me cuesta aún poder apartar tiempo pero ya estoy adaptándome mejor para que el año que viene cumple mi meta de ser más constante. Me encanta crear contenido y quiero traerles más variedad como solía hacerlo. Esto también está relacionado a otra meta que, honestamente, prometí este año y no cumplí la cual es traer más contenido musical. Los que me conocen saben que mis primeras publicaciones eran haciendo covers, y aunque este año en general dejé muy de lado el violín, quiero volver a traerles más música porque a pesar de estudiar y trabajar en algo diferente, siempre tendré mi parte musical presente, espero que este año pueda traerles más cosas. A su vez de crear videoblogs y traer más cosas para ustedes.
There are things I didn't do this year, especially on this platform that has given me so much. Since I started studying and working, I've neglected content creation a bit. It's still hard for me to find the time, but I'm adapting better so that next year I can achieve my goal of being more consistent. I love creating content and I want to bring you more variety, as I used to. This is also related to another goal that, honestly, I promised myself this year and didn't fulfill, which is to bring you more musical content. Those who know me know that my first posts were covers, and although this year I generally neglected the violin, I want to bring you more music because even though I'm studying and working on something different, I will always have my musical side present. I hope that this year I can bring you more things. At the same time, I want to create video blogs and bring you more things.
Este año ha sido genial, con sus cosas buenas y malas, pero ha sido muy reflexivo. Espero seguir mejorando y aprendiendo, a su vez de cumplir con mis metas. Gracias por leer hasta el final, lo aprecio muchísimo. Que tengan un feliz y próspero año nuevo 2026!
