Afritunes week 187 //Ka Fi Karfi Damuwa Mu/Jesus is more than our challenges cover by @oluthomas
Hello friends of Hive, welcome to my blog.
My name is *@oluthomas*. Please permit me to say Happy Monday to you all. I believe everyone is doing perfectly well.
For Afritunes Week 187, I was thinking of which song to sing, and this very Hausa song just dropped on me, so I started singing it. I’ve known this song since I was little, and I’ve always loved it even back when I wasn’t in the choir.
This song talks about how our Lord Jesus Christ is greater than every problem. There comes a time in our lives when people may start mocking us and asking, “Where is your God?” They may say things like, “You’ve been doing good, going to church, helping the poor, and following God’s commandments,” and they’ll make it seem like you should give up worshiping your God.
But as someone who has a deeper understanding of who God truly is, you won’t fall for such temptations. That’s why we need the presence of the Holy Spirit to guide and direct us, and to help us know when and how to respond to what people say about us.
The song reminds us not to worry about what tomorrow brings or what people may say. Because no matter what you do, people will always talk. So the best thing you can do is to love the Lord and also love yourself before loving others. When you truly love God and yourself, you can live above people’s opinions and overcome every attack through the love of God.
Thank you for stopping by, and remain blessed. 🙏
