Greetings and good evening, dear and valued friends of Buskeria. As usual, I'm back. This time to share my new story with you. Today's story is dedicated to the character Alexis. She's a singer who has to go through something very difficult and must decide whether to give up or keep going. Whether she succeeds or not, you'll have to see in the story. I hope you enjoy it, so let's begin, friends.

Saludos y buenas noches queridos y apreciado amigos de Buskeria. Como cada noche o tarde en dependencia de la hora en que veas esto aquí estoy de regreso. Esta vez para compartir con ustedes mi nueva historia. Esta de hoy está dedicada al personaje Alexis. Ella es una cantante que tiene que atravesar por algo muy difícil y tiene que decidir si rendirse o seguir adelante. Si lo logrará o no lo podrán ver en la historia. Espero que les guste, entonces amigos comenzamos.

Building your future on a fragile foundation is dangerous because you can lose everything in an instant. Alexis experienced this firsthand, and it was truly difficult for her. For years, she had been the lead singer of a very important band. This wasn't just any band, not just another run-of-the-mill act. This band had millions of fans worldwide, and many loved them. Alexis had given everything for this band: she left her partner, sacrificed time with her children, and stopped working with other artists. All this and more with the sole objective of taking the band to the top and making it their own.

At first, everyone dreamed of becoming a pop star, of being recognized as one of the best bands. Most of them built their future by placing their trust in the other members. No one worried that this great project would end because they all shared the initial goal. But this future, anticipated by everyone, and especially by Alexis, had very fragile foundations that could easily cause it to collapse. Some members weren't fully committed, and that would come to light sooner or later.

Construir tu futuro sobre una base frágil es peligroso porque pueden perderlo todo en un instante. Alexis tuvo que vivirlo en carne propia, y fue realmente duro para ella. Durante años había sido la cantante vocalista de una banda realmente importante. Esta no era cualquier banda o una más del montón. Esta banda tenía millones de seguidores por todo el mundo y muchos la amaban. Alexis lo había dado todo por esta banda, dejó a su pareja, perdió tiempo de estar con sus hijos, dejó de trabajar con otros artistas. Todo esto y más con el único objetivo de llevar a la banda lejos y ser exclusiva para ellos.

Al principio el sueño de todos era poder ser grandes en pop, que se les reconociera como una de las mejores bandas. La mayoría construyó su futuro poniendo la confianza en los demás miembros. Nadie se preocupaba que este gran proyecto termina ya que todos tenían el objetivo inicial. Pero este futuro esperado por todos y en especial por Alexis tenia bases muy frágiles que podrían hacerlo caer fácilmente. Algunos miembros no estaban completamente comprometidos y eso saldría a relucir tarde o temprano.

Despite everything, the band did make remarkable progress, reaching its peak. But once thousands of dollars started pouring in with each gig, fans began favoring some members over others, and one member's creativity was rejected and instead imposed on others, all of this and more began to create a rift within the band. It threatened to destroy everything. Alexis had placed his trust in them and sacrificed a great deal to bring the band to where it was, so he never gave up trying to mediate the growing obstacles.

He fought as hard as he could, but in the end, it all fell apart. The band managed to stay together because each member was only thinking of their own benefit and not the greater good of their project. After the band completely disintegrated, the fans hated them. They couldn't believe that such things had destroyed what they loved so much. So they made it their mission to boycott everything the band did after the breakup. For this reason, many members found it impossible to continue in music, and others simply retreated to less problematic genres. Their arrogance had destroyed their careers.

A pesar de todo la banda si logró avances notables y así fue como llegó a su punto más alto. Pero una vez que los miles de dólares entraban por cada trabajo, que los fans querían más a unos que otros, que la creatividad de uno no quería ser aceptada y por el contrario se imponía de otros miembros. Todo esto y más comenzaron a crear una grieta entre ellos. Y amenazaba con destruir todo. Alexis había puesto su confianza en ellos y también había sacrificado mucho para llevar a la banda hasta donde estaba, así que nunca se rindió en tratar de mediar entre los obstáculos que se iban creando.

Luchó todo lo que pudo, pero al final todo se destruyó. La banda se pudo permanecer unida porque cada uno solo pensaba en su beneficio y no en lo más grande que tenían su proyecto. Luego de la banda desintegrarse por completo los fans los odiaron, no podían creer que por esas cosas hayan roto lo que tanto amaban tanto como ellos mismos. Así que se encargaron de hacer boicots a todo lo que hacían nuevo luego de la separación. Por esta razón a mucho miembros les fue imposible continuar en la música, y otros solo se retiraron hacia otros géneros menos problemáticos. Por su arrogancia habían destruido su carrera.

Alexis lost everything: her position as lead singer, the trust of the people who loved her music, and even her hopes for the future. Unlike the others, she didn't give up and fought to defend and clear her name. She gave interviews to talk about what had happened and her role in the breakup. Little by little, she managed to regain people's trust. But it came at a high price. She couldn't find work as a singer for several years, and no record label would hire her because they were afraid of her reputation, even though she had explained that she had nothing to do with it. But even so, the actions of others had consequences for her.

Alexis lo perdió todo, su puesto como vocalista, la confianza de las personas que amaban su música y hasta las esperanzas de su futuro. Ella a diferencia de los otros no se rindió y luchó por defender y limpiar su imagen. Dio entrevistas para hablar de lo que había pasado y de cual había sido su rol en la desintegración. Poco a poco pudo lograr volver a ganar confianza de la gente. Pero le costó caro, no pudo volver a encontrar trabajo como cantante en varios años y ninguna discográfica le dio empleo porque tenían miedo de su reputación, y eso que ella había explicado que no tuvo nada que ver. Pero aún así las acciones de otros tuvieron consecuencias en ella.

Year after year, she continued fighting to return to music, but she couldn't get into a big band or secure a record deal. Many of her former bandmates had gone through the same thing and given up, leaving the music industry altogether. She hoped her future wouldn't be forever marked by this setback, so she didn't surrender. After much searching, it seemed fate rewarded her. A small, up-and-coming band offered her the position of lead singer. They had no fame or anything, but they were committed to reaching the top together. So Alexis saw this as an opportunity to start over, but this time, to do it right. It will be difficult to get back to where she once was, but it will be worth it. With her experience, she will give it her all so they don't suffer the same hardships she endured.

Año tras año continuó luchando por volver a la música, no consiguió ser parte de una banda grande y ni contratos con discográficas. Muchos de sus propios compañeros de la antigua banda habían pasado por lo mismo y habían tirado la toalla, se habían ido de la música. Ella tenía esperanzas de que su futuro no se marcara de por vida por eso no se rindió. Luego de mucho buscar al parecer el destino la recompensó. Una banda pequeña que apenas comenzaba le ofreció el puesto como vocalista, ellos no tenían fama ni nada, pero tenían el compromiso de llegar juntos a la cima. Así que Alexis vio la oportunidad de volver a empezar pero ahora de hacerlo bien. Le costará llegar a donde una vez estuvo pero valdrá la pena. Con su experiencia se esforzará al máximo porque ellos no sufran lo mismo por lo que ella tuvo que pasar.
