Contest 237 In memory of my Mother(Eng/Esp)
Happy Mother's Day to all mothers and all those who have in their care, a being to whom they give their unconditional love.
This contest touched my soul, because it gives me the possibility to pay tribute to the person who loved me the most in my life and whom I will not have enough time to thank for so much love.
With the permission of [@kerrislravenhill](/@kerrislravenhill) and all the readers, I will try to address indistinctly the two proposed themes.
I start by telling you that since 2020 Mother's Day stopped being a whole Festejo at home, no more preparations for that day, which not only involved the organization of the festivity, but also the purchase of gifts and making postcards for our mother and all the mothers close to us.
I fondly remember how early that day the postcards began to arrive and the exchange of congratulations and scoldings among neighbors, friends and, of course, family began.
I always thought that when I grew up I would have the joy of enjoying this environment, but today my children do not live in the country, my mother passed away in 2021, the rest of my family and friends are in very similar situations to mine, the young people are not here and the economic situation of the country is very hard.
So today's celebration is different, I will buy some gifts for the closest mothers, I will deliver some on Mother's Day and I will try to gradually send them to my friends who live a little farther away.
My husband is going to prepare a special meal, but most importantly made with love, I will enjoy my children and friends through the networks and dedicate some time to write in hive.
I have to tell you that I have received several gifts from my natural and adopted children at heart jjj, I loved going for a walk with Jessy last Saturday and for sure I am going to enjoy some time with my sister and nephews.
That's the plan, it doesn't look like what I dreamed of, but I am very thankful to receive the love from everyone, it brightens my day and makes me happy.
I miss my mother every day of this world, but she is present in every moment of my life, because I am faithful to all the values she taught me and in this way I honor her memory.
Having had my mother until I was 60 years old was a blessing that I thank to life, I had the satisfaction of trying to repay all the love and care she put in me, since she passed away at the age of 93.
It was beautiful to take care of her, the elderly are like children, with the difference that all the care and effort does not translate into development, but you only achieve that they have a greater comfort and that the sequels of the years lived hurt them as little as possible.
In countries with economic difficulties it is a challenge to get everything you need, because sometimes the thing is not that they have high prices, but that you can't find it because there is none.
It is really stressful, I had the support of family and friends who lived abroad, but even so you do not stop being in shock.
It requires the help and understanding of the whole family, so that we can all enjoy some time to recharge our batteries and distance ourselves from the pressure of care.
In the midst of all these pressures, you must always try to transmit security and treat them with affection, because sometimes they are very susceptible.
My mother was always very active, so that she would not get upset when she had to do a task and she would carefully try to keep her from doing things that could be a risk to her health.

Feliz día de las Madres para todas las madres y todos lo que tienen a su cuidado, un ser a quien le entregan su amor incondicional.
Este contest me llegó al alma, pues me da la posibilidad de rendir tributo a la persona que más me amó en mi vida y a quien no me alcanzará el tiempo para agradecerle por tanto amor.
Con el permiso de [@kerrislravenhill](/@kerrislravenhill) y de todos los lectores voy a tratar de indistintamente abordar las dos temáticas propuestas.
Comienzo por decirles que desde el 2020 el día de las Madres dejó de ser todo un Festejo en casa, se acabaron los preparativos para ese día, que no solo implicaba la organización de la festividad, sino también la compra de regalos y confección de postales para nuestra madre y todas las madres cercanas.
Recuerdo con cariño como ese día desde tempranito comenzaban a llegar las postales y comenzaba el intercambio de felicitaciones y regaños entre los vecinos amigos y por supuesto la familia.
Siempre pensé que cuando fuera mayor tendría la dicha de disfrutar de este ambiente, pero hoy mis hijos no viven en el país, ml Madre falleció en el 2021, el resto de familiares y amigos están en situaciones muy similares a las mías los jóvenes no están y golpea muchísimo la situación económica del país.
Por lo que la celebración de hoy es diferente, compraré unos detalles para las madres más cercanas, entregaré algunos el día de las madres y trataré de poco a poco hacerle llegar los de las amigas que viven algo más lejos.
Mi esposo va a preparar una comida un poco especial, pero lo más importante hecha con amor, voy a disfrutar de mis hijos y amigos a través de las redes y dedicar un tiempo a escribir en hive.
Tengo que decirles que he recibido varios regalos de mis hijos naturales y adoptivos de corazón jjj, me encantó ir a pasear con Jessy el sábado pasado y de seguro voy a disfrutar un rato con mi hermana y mis sobrinos.
Ese es el plan, no se parece a lo que soñé, pero si agradezco mucho recibir el amor de todos, eso alegra mi día y me hace feliz.
Yo extraño a mi madre todos los días de este mundo, pero ella está presente en cada momento de mi vida, pues soy fiel a todos los valores que me enseñó y de esta forma honro su memoria.
Haber tenido a mi Madre hasta que tuve 60 años, fue una bendición, que agradezco a la vida, tuve la satisfacción de tratar de resarcir todo el amor y desvelo que puso en mí, pues falleció con 93 años.
Fue hermoso atenderla, los adultos mayores son como niños, con la diferencia que todo cuidado y empeño no se traduce en desarrollo, sino que solo logras que tengan un mayor confort y que las secuelas de los años vividos lo lastimen lo menos posible.
En países con dificultades económicas es todo un desafío lograr tener todo lo que necesitas, pues a veces la cosa no va de que tengan altos precios, sino que no lo encuentras porque no lo hay.
Verdaderamente es tensionante, yo tuve el apoyo de familiares y amigos que vivían en el extranjero, pero aun así no dejas de estar en sobresalto.
Se requiere de la ayuda y comprensión de toda la familia, para que todos podamos disfrutar de un tiempo para reponer energías y distanciarnos de la presión que implican estos cuidados.
En medio de todas estas presiones, debes siempre de tratar transmitirle seguridad y tratarlos con mucho cariño, pues en ocasiones son muy susceptibles.
Mi madre siempre fue muy activa, para que no se molestara debía tener alguna tarea y con mucho cuidado trataba de que no hiciera cosas que pudieran ser un riesgo para su salud.

Mothers day in Cuba nowadays sounds like a lonely affair with your young living in other countries and the loss of your mother too. She lived until 93 Wow! I wish I had more time with my Mom. I think you've got the right solution to fill that void, 'adopt-a-mother'. You said there are others in the same situation. It works for me since I was encouraged to 'adopt-a-father' in my church.

En mi país Venezuela se vive una situación similar, la mayoría de las familias están separadas por la migración ahora lo más común es ver como los hijos mandaron a comprar regalos desde el exterior para darles a sus madres aquí, yo afortunadamente vivo con mi mamá, pero entiendo que difícil tener los hijos por fuera.
