I'm back with a photo using my phone camera. This time, my focus is on an orchid in my sister's yard. She's an orchid lover. There are several varieties of orchids in her yard, but this purple orchid caught my eye.

This orchid looks so beautiful and enchanting. Its large petals with white stripes make it truly captivating. It grows in clusters and is different from the orchids we usually see, which usually have long stems and long petals.

Using coconut fiber as a growing medium, this orchid thrives. It's attached to the trunk of a starfruit tree that's growing and bearing fruit. Certainly, orchids aren't parasites that bother starfruit trees. Here are a couple of pictures I managed to capture.
