Good day all 🤗. Doing my 5-minutes free writer's daily prompt - Not as Cute as Mine. I hope you enjoy the story.

As I walked through my estate to take some fresh air, I couldn't help but notice the adorable puppies playing together down in my estate. As a vet student and a lover of cute pets, you know I can't just walk past those cuties without petting them. One little puppy caught my eye with big brown eyes and a wagging tail. I couldn't help but stop and pet him.

The owner of the puppies, a very friendly guy, struck up a conversation. He asked if I wanted to hold his puppy, and I happily agreed while we walked down the estate together. As I cuddled the puppy, he said, "You know, my friend has a puppy that's just as cute as this one." I smiled and said, "Oh, really? I'd love to see pictures!" He pulled out his phone and showed me photos of his friend's puppy. While the puppy was adorable, I couldn't help but think, "Not as cute as mine."

I said to him, "You see, I have a puppy at home too that's the love of my life. Her name is Fifi; she's the cutest thing I've ever laid eyes on. Her eyes and fluffy fur make my heart melt." As we continued talking and walking, I realized that this guy was actually thinking the same about his own puppy. There's something special about our own pets that makes them extra cute in our eyes.

So the guy got to his destination, and I said goodbye to him and his cute puppy. Of course, I didn't forget to tell him that I'm a vet student and that he should let me know whenever he needs emergency care for his puppy, as we exchanged contacts. Walking back home, I couldn't help but smile thinking about Fifi. She's truly one of a kind, and I'm so proud and grateful to have her. Maybe it's not about comparison but about appreciating the unique bond we share with our pets.
