📚 Book Review ~ Malgudi Days –A collection of extraordinary stories hidden in simple life
Hello friends, I hope you are all well. Today I am going to share with you an amazing book called Malgudi Days is not just a story book, it is a world of stories. One of the greatest writers of Indian literature, R. K. Narayan, takes us through this book to the fictional city of Malgudi, where the lives of ordinary people become the source of extraordinary stories. Malgudi is a place where school children, shopkeepers, teachers, saints, employees or ordinary people are all the heroes of the story in their own way. The author has presented very ordinary events with extraordinary humanity. I hope you will like it very much.
Book Summary Malgudi Days is a collection of short stories where each story is different, but all of them are connected at the same time by the lives of people, hopes, failures, joys and sorrows. The main story of the story is the small town of Malgudi, which gradually becomes like a real place for the reader.
In some stories, we see the simple perspective of children, while in some stories, we see the responsibilities, frustrations, and social pressures of adults. Sometimes there is humor, sometimes silent pain, and sometimes the hard truth of life. Although the stories are very simple, their depth is extraordinary.
He does not call anyone good or bad. He just presents people as they are. His language is simple, calm, and heartwarming. There is no extra drama, but when each story ends, it feels as if this incident has happened right around us.
My Review While reading Malgudi Days I felt that this is not a story book but a mirror of life. The author has presented very ordinary things in a way that leaves a deep impression on the mind. While reading the stories, sometimes I laugh and sometimes my mind becomes heavy. The biggest strength of this book is its humanity. The characters are not perfect, they make mistakes, get scared, dream and give up again. This imperfection makes them real.
In today's busy life, this book teaches us to be slow. The language is so simple that it feels like someone is sitting next to us and telling the story. There are no difficult and complex ideas, but the depth of feeling is extraordinary. However, for those who like very fast-paced stories or thrillers, the book may seem a little slow. But for those who love to find the beauty of life in small moments, Malgudi Days is a unique experience. It teaches us that life is actually very simple, yet extraordinary.
Thanks you so much for reading. See you next :)

Thank you so much for the support ❤️
What a lovely review! It truly brought me a sense of peace just reading it. I wasn't familiar with the book or the author, but I love the idea of a fictional town feeling so real through the stories of ordinary people. You're absolutely right about today's hectic pace of life; sometimes we need to slow down and read something that doesn't strive for exaggerated drama, but is simply a "mirror of life," as you so aptly describe it. It sounds like the perfect read to unwind on a quiet weekend and appreciate the little things. Thank you for the discovery!
I'm so glad to hear that you liked it. If you have time, please read this book. I hope you enjoy it even more. Thank you so much ❤️
