Nothing major.....I just wondered where all the pens go???

I work in my home office a lot and once or twice a week I get a new pen out of the packet...do the usual scribble to get the ball rolling... then swear softly to myself when it doesn't work...and then scribble harder until the ink flows...

Then I use the nice shiny new BIC (insert your preferred brand) for five or ten minutes.

The next day (and sometimes even on the same day)I cannot find the brand new pen.

I have no idea where they all go. There must be a song in there somewhere.

Do they go on a permanent pen holiday? Or take early retirement and go to live in a cottage by the coast? Do they quietly self destruct? Perhaps they fall in to a black hole which is just full of pens?
