Spaghetti with sardine sauce (Eng/Esp)
In today's modern society, we are asked to streamline our daily lives to make better use of our time in productive tasks, so spending several hours preparing lunch is not usually the most sensible option when you have various activities to do in the early afternoon. In this case, as I already had homemade tomato sauce stored in the refrigerator, I decided to use it in a pasta dish with sardines and cheese. One of the best recipes you can think of when you're hungry and short on time.
Ingredients:
- A can of sardines in tomato sauce
- Homemade sauce
- Butter
- 1/2 pound of spaghetti
- 2 liters of water
- Hard white cheese
- Salt to taste
Preparation:
I pour two liters of water into a pot and bring it to a boil with a pinch of salt. Meanwhile, I open the can of sardines and empty it into a deep dish. I like to clean the sardines, so I remove the bones and guts.
Once the water boiled, I add the spaghetti to the pot. I prefer to break it in half to prevent it from sticking together while cooking. After doing this, I start preparing the sauce, which only takes a few minutes because it's so convenient to have homemade sauce ready. This saves me from having to chop the seasonings.
I emptied the sardines and their sauce into a pan, along with the homemade sauce, heated it up, and stirred until it was all mixed together.
In no time, everything was ready. In less than half an hour, the spaghetti was drained, with a touch of butter, a helping of sauce, and a sprinkling of grated white cheese on top. Simply spectacular, one of the best combinations you can make in such a short time.
En la actual sociedad moderna, se nos pide agilizar lo cotidiano para aprovechar mejor el tiempo en tareas productivas, de allí que dedicar varias horas a preparar un almuerzo no suele ser la opción más sensata cuando se deben realizar diversas actividades a primeras horas de la tarde. En este caso, como ya tenía salsa de tomate casera guardada en la nevera, decidí usarla en una pasta con sardinas y queso. De las mejores recetas que se pueden concebir cuando hay hambre y poco tiempo.
Ingredientes:
- Una lata de sardinas en salsa de tomate
- Salsa casera
- Mantequilla
- 1/2 de Espaguetis
- 2 litros de Agua
- Queso blanco duro
- Sal al gusto
Preparación:
En una olla vierto dos litros de agua y pongo a hervir con un toque de sal, mientras tanto proceso a abrir la lata de sardinas y la vacío en un plato hondo. Me gusta limpiar las sardinas, por tal razón extraje las espinas y vísceras.
Un vez que el agua hirvió introduje los espaguetis en la olla, prefiero picarlos a la mitad para evitar que se peguen al cocinar. Luego que hice este paso inicié la preparación de la salsa, lo cual me llevó pocos minutos debido a lo práctico que resulta tener la salsa casera lista, con ello me evito picar los aliños.
En un sartén vacié las sardinas y su salsa y también la salsa casera, calenté y revolví hasta lograr una mezcla homogénea.
En instantes todo estuvo listo, en menos de media hora estaba el espagueti colado, con su toque de mantequilla, su ración de salsa y su toque de queso blanco rallado por encima. Sencillamente espectacular, de las mejores combinaciones que se pueden preparar en tan corto tiempo.
