The weather is one of the important factors that affect human health and activities. It is the state of the atmosphere at a specific period and it is prone to changes. There are times when we know what weather we will be in the next month, but recently, monitoring the weather has become an impossible task as everything has changed over time. Weather is important in daily living; it controls human activities to some extent, such as dressing. There are clothes bought or sewn for specific weather just to march up to avoid being susceptible to sickness.

In my country, Nigeria, there are different kinds of weather, such as rainy, sunny, and another one known as harmattan. I don't know how to place the harmattan weather because it comes with some distinctive features from others. It's always very cold and dry. The atmosphere becomes so dry that breathing becomes a little bit difficult because everywhere will be dusty; one has to work around it with a nose mask to avoid an uninvited running nose and cough. The rainy weather is always so cool, although it is cold sometimes, but the atmosphere is always moist, and breathing is made so easy. While the sunny season is a different one entirely, the sun is always scorching, and dehydration sets in every minute. One has to stay hydrated for the proper functioning of the body's systems.

Among these weathers, rainy is my favorite, the atmosphere is always friendly during this period. Although one had to change one's dressing because of cold at a point. One would have to put on a cardigan or pullover and thick clothes to protect the body and keep the body warm, but yet it's my best weather condition. Presently, in Nigeria, harmattan has gone, and we are dealing with the sunny weather giving heat vibes. I was trying to sleep this evening, and the heat wouldn't allow me to have a good sleep. It was so annoying because the fan couldn't help. I was hissing continuously until I woke up. I opened my door to allow cross ventilation, but then the story was the same.

Rainy weather makes me feel happy and relaxed even though I have to put on thick clothes; I'm always glad I don't have to deal with heat or sweat. Reading is made easy during this weather; the brain and the body system will be so cool. The environment temperature and humidity will be so friendly for easy assimilation. I'm having an examination next week and I'm really struggling with reading in the afternoon because everywhere is hot. My brain is not settled to assimilate anything I read. I have to wait till midnight when everywhere is cool before I can read.

Aside from this favorite weather, I don't have anyone I take pleasure in again. I dislike anything hot or that will make me sweaty, which makes me dislike other types of weather conditions. For now, I will stick to that, but I can't say if my preference would change later, hopefully, if I change location and I see more suitable weather than the one I am experiencing here. Maybe then I can change my mind and have another weather as my favorite. I can't wait for the rainy season again because this present one isn't for me. If it were to be rainy time, my sleep this afternoon would have been one of the best.
