Birdwatching - 1613 🐦

🦉 The Eurasian siskin (Spinus spinus)
📚 Spinus spinos (Greek) unidentified bird mentioned Aristotle and other ancient Greek. authors.

These photos were taken at the end of October, when it was almost winter. That day, walking through the forest, I heard a large noisy flock of these birds and went to the sound.
I saw how these birds sit on rowan bushes. I didn't even know they eat berries! Or maybe not berries, but seeds inside them, like bullfinches.

At the same place, other birds ate the buds of bushes. In this photo above, by the way, the male. It is completely yellow. And the females have a white bottom of the body, and not such a bright yellow color.
