Now these birds can be seen less often than in autumn and winter. By this time they have already found a mate and the construction of the nest is in full swing. The building materials used are moss, wool, dry and soft blades of grass, in general, everything that is soft. And it is very difficult to notice them, since during the breeding period they are quite quiet and secretive.

The long-tailed tit can be called a typically insectivorous bird, since its food contains plant elements extremely rarely, only in winter, when the bird eats small seeds of birch and alder. Its main food is insects and spiders. Among insects there are a large number of species of forest pests.
