Hola, entramos a la última semana de junio y con ella el caos de las noticias en el mundo; sin embargo, siempre hay tiempo para disfrutar nuestro tiempo libre y añadir una nueva serie a mi lista de K-Dramas. Esta vez le toco el turno a Café Minamdang, una serie que me hizo reír mucho en cada episodio, además de ver una nueva actuación como protagonista al actor Seo In-guk. Para mis amigos que no han visto todavía un K-drama con este actor, les recomiendo ver también Fatalidad a tu servicio. Esta semana necesitaba reír un poco, así que esta serie me dio esa oportunidad de sacar un poco el estrés de las malas noticias.

Hello, we enter the last week of June and with it the chaos of news in the world; however, there is always time to enjoy our free time and add a new series to my list of K-Dramas. This time it's the turn of Café Minamdang, a series that made me laugh a lot in every episode, plus I got to see a new starring performance from actor Seo In-guk. For my friends who haven't seen a K-drama with this actor yet, I recommend you also watch Fatality at your service. This week I needed a good laugh, so this series gave me that chance to get some of the stress out of the bad news.

Café Minamdang es una serie de 18 capítulos que mezcla en un guion la comedia, investigación policial, estafas y la mentira de un chamán. El protagonista de este alocado K-drama es Nam Han-jun un ex policía que perdió su trabajo después de un gran mal entendido, luego de cumplir un tiempo en presión este ex perfilador criminal hace un cambio radical en su vida, aprovechándose de su astucia, conocimiento en investigación y afortunada compañía de amigos traza para sí una nueva identidad en la fachada de un Chamán que se vuelve famoso por ser el mejor vidente. Nam Han-jun no solo gana fama entre ricos como vidente, mezclada con su astucia para hablar y encanto físico; esta fama le ayuda a entrar en el mundo de las estafas, todo con un objetivo personal. En su intensa búsqueda por encontrar la verdad del malentendido que lo llevó a la cárcel, descubre una red de crímenes que lo dirigen directo a encontrarse con el amor y el perdón. Una oportunidad de amar que se negó asimismo tras tantos malos entendidos en su pasado como policía.
La encargada de poner el mundo de este vidente estafador será Han Jae-hui una detective apodada el Fantasma, quien entre peleas, reclamos y encuentros en el café Minamdang mezclará su vida a la de este vidente.

El tipo de comedia en los K-dramas siempre es exagerado, tonta, pero son los personajes que hacen que ese tipo de comedia sea aceptable y divertida. En este drama, el vidente necesita aliados para hacer su estafa como chamán, así que junto a sus amigos Gong Soo-chul, Jo Na-dan y su inteligente hermana Nam Hye-jun, harán que los crimines sean más rápidos de resolver. El personaje de Gong Soo-chul también es un ex policía y testigo del sufrimiento del protagonista, es el mejor amigo y el defensor del grupo, por otro lado, Jo Na-dan es el rostro tierno del grupo, un inventor, cómplice de las estafas y finalmente la hermana del protagonista Nam Hye-jun una inteligente mujer con una forma de higiene bastante peculiar son los cerebros del Café Minamdang. Entre otros personajes importantes y misteriosos está el fiscal Cha Do Won, un personaje interesante y astuto que ayudará a este grupo de amigos a resolver varios crímenes.

Café Minamdang es una serie que, además de mostrar el romance alocado de un chamán y una detective, muestra también la realidad de la corrupción en la policía y lo fácil que es engañar y aprovecharse de las personas cuando creen en tantas cosas espirituales. Este drama abarca la facilidad con la cual muchos crímenes son silenciados cuando el dinero es parte del trato. La corrupción en la policía es una realidad que se encuentra en casi todo el mundo. Me gusta este mensaje en la historia.

😅Personajes exagerados

Lo que no me gustó en la serie

Particularmente no me gusta Scooby-Doo, aunque me gustan las historias de crímenes, pienso que aunque el escritor se inspire en ciertos personajes para crear sus historias es importante no dejar tan visible esa fuente porque se vuelve exagerado, esto pasa con ciertos personajes en el drama claramente el director no se fijó en lo negativo que es para la audiencia encontrarse con personajes similares a los Scooby-Doo.

Café Minamdang is a series that, besides showing the crazy romance of a shaman and a detective, also shows the reality of corruption in the police and how easy it is to cheat and take advantage of people when they believe in so many spiritual things. This drama embraces the ease with which many crimes are hushed up when money is part of the deal. Corruption in the police is a reality found almost everywhere in the world. I like this message in the story.

😅Exaggerated characters What I didn't like in the series.
Particularly I don't like Scooby-Doo, although I like crime stories, I think that although the writer is inspired by certain characters to create their stories it is important not to leave that source so visible because it becomes exaggerated, this happens with certain characters in the drama clearly the director did not notice how negative it is for the audience to meet characters similar to the Scooby-Doo.
