Lately it has become a bit more difficult to photograph the streets in Havana. We have all felt it, from transportation problems to the inquisitive looks of some authorities who do not look kindly on documenting reality when reality does not favor them. So we have to move carefully, without stopping to reflect street reality, which in the end is our purpose.

Today I share with you a small series I made together with a good friend through the streets of Vedado. As I have said before, it is a fascinating place for its variety of architecture and the intense life that can be felt. I hope you like it.

Últimamente se ha vuelto un poco más difícil fotografiar la calle en La Habana. Lo hemos sentido todos, desde el problema del transporte hasta las miradas inquisidoras de algunas autoridades que no ven con buenos ojos que se registre la realidad cuando la realidad no les favorece. Entonces hay que andar con cuidado y sin dejar de reflejar la realidad callejera, que al fin y al cabo es nuestro propósito.

Hoy les comparto una pequeña serie que hice junto a un buen amigo por las calles del Vedado. Como he dicho antes, es un lugar fascinante por su variedad de arquitectura y la vida agitada que se respira. Espero que les guste.
