Close up:
It was my lunch time and as I sat down to enjoy my lunch, i heard a loud chirping. The sound was so close that it felt as if the bird was right beside me.
Initially, I didn't gave any attention to it. However, as I continued eating, the chirping became more frequent and louder.
Curious, I turned my head and saw this bird perched nearby, looking straight at me. It tilted its head slightly and chirp, almost as if it was calling me out.
I was amused by its interaction and decided to see how it would react. I took a small portion of the rice from my plate and gently placed it on the side of the table.
To my surprise, the bird hesitated for a moment but then flew closer. It hopped toward the rice and started pecking at the rice.
Watching it eat fearlessly just inches away from me, really made my day. I also managed to take a photograph of the bird.
In my local tongue, this bird is called as Burung Gembala Kerbau. According to google, it is called as Common Myna in English.
