Saludos a toda la comunidad de Full Deportes, comencé mi entrega en el feed de la comunidad con una frase que se usa mucho en la vida cotidiana, y muchos dirán bueno que significa, la frase no es más que una forma general de decir, tengan cuidado con el equipo Cuba que se le atraviesa en el camino a cualquiera.

Estuve viendo varios posts de los que más escriben de béisbol aquí en la comunidad, y por supuesto los más acertados son los de @fermionico que va siempre a la semilla del árbol a la hora de hablar sobre béisbol. Precisamente en uno de sus posts, no mencionaba a Cuba, y yo no es que me haya molestado porque cada quien tiene su opinión, pero históricamente en los Clásicos Mundiales, la selección cubana ha competido cara a cara con los mejores peloteros del mundo representando a su país, mientras Cuba solo competía con peloteros de nuestra liga local.

Mejoramos lo que anticipó MLB

No es que diga que fuimos más inteligentes en el terreno que lo que dijo MLB en su Power Ranking, dejando a Cuba en el Top-10, porque sencillamente eso fue un pronóstico, y los pronósticos varían según las circunstancias. Si se puede decir que lo dicho por MLB es una falta de respeto al béisbol cubano, porque Cuba, durante el profesionalismo era la mejor del Caribe con diferencia, en el béisbol amateur siempre le ganaba a los americanos en mundiales, Juegos Olímpicos, etc, incluso se ganó una Serie del Caribe en 2015.

Creo que a veces sería injusto subestimar a Cuba en eventos internacionales, es verdad que los resultados en la última década han sido cada vez peores, siendo un claro reflejo de lo que se ve en la Serie Nacional, pero eso no resta mérito a que con los peloteros nuestros se tenga mala fama ni mucho menos. Otros países con más peloteros dentro del sistema MLB como Colombia, Brasil, Gran Bretaña y Nicaragua quedaron fuera de la contienda más temprano, y Cuba sigue viva.

Hablando del triunfo ante Colombia

Los colombianos no supieron aprovechar al máximo el descontrol de los lanzadores cubanos (10 bases por bolas), y la defensa colombiana hizo aguas a la hora decisiva. Pero en el algor beisbolero, el único pelotero que no hace errores, es el que no juega. Si hay algo que me gusta de este equipo cubano es su capacidad de reacción, pasaron de perder 1-0 sin que les dieran hit, a remontar con 4 carreras en la misma primera entrada.
