LMAC219: Suckers
Hello everyone! ππ·
My second collage in the 219 series. Let's Make a Collage - A Contest for All Creatives on Hive - Round 219 - β¨100 HIVE in the Prize Pool!
I wanted to do something fun, but (again) I'm still determining if I succeeded. The result was something grotesque.
What I wanted to say was that our resources are not infinite, that nature is also changing as a result of our activities, and that we cannot exploit (or suck up) natural resources indefinitely.
But everyone cries when a tornado, earthquake, drought, flood, or tsunami hits. Eh, suckers.
We never learn anything from our mistakes.

The creation process
I created the collage using Photoshop.
First, I prepared a background from the base image, which I multiplied and inverted.
Then, I rearranged all the elements and added them to the background in layers.
Hope you have fun!

Well, it certainly uses the grotesque. It startles, breaks through complacency, challenges the comfort zone. Effective, disquieting collage. Hard to look away, and hard to look at it.
I'm not sure you made something fun here...certainly not fun for me to look at. But it is arresting. As usual, an original, powerful piece.
I meant to do something comical and funny, but it's evident that when I do something like that, it ends up being grotesque. Something is still missing. I don't know what, but I hope to try again in my following collages.
A creative, colorful, surreal collage with movement. Excellent
