Java Jaguar 309
Time to start the Java letters show! So much easier to draw, I could probably do these twice a week. Maybe I could have Lana Louis-Lane fill in for Java one of these days. Her newscasts are also really easy to draw... :o)
Ok, so I'll be answering questions from: Steve, Senok13, Archives and Cat Man over the next few strips. MerlinOfTheTower, I didn't use your question for the Sphinx but I did use the contents of your first letter to spring the sphinx and get him to the coffee shop. So 5 Kick Points to all of y'all. To everyone else, sorry, I only pick the ones I think I can turn into some kind of gag. Feel free to submit additional questions from now until I start drawing, you know, "real" comics.
Hey, maybe the Sphinx will start hanging out at the cafe from now on. Can't have too many talking felines in a comic strip, right?
Boilerplate:
Java Jaguar is a webcomic based on the true story of a talking jaguar cub found in a coffee shop. Yes, I said based on the true story. Java Jaguar is produced by the nomadic cartoonist, Matt S. Law, on his mobile art studio consisting of Clip Studio Paint Pro on a Microsoft Surface Pro 4.

Here is the time lapse video of today's comic: Now featuring Java's theme song!

Slap... How did you get past all the recently, re-armed death traps?
Slap... and all the magical ward i cast?
Slap... what do you want?
Slap... stop hitting me..
Yep, this is how i envision this going
Later.
"You were wrong, Sphinxie. It only took 20 slaps for him to start crying."
"Yes, but that was to cry like a normal wizard. At 42 is when the pitch of his voice changes so that his crying is like a little girl."
"... Seriously?"
"Uh huh!"
"I'll be back."
42 is definitely the correct answer!
