Cheers….
Afternoon everyone…..
Today was a chill day partly at the beach and partly at the private pool we have access to. We started off our day at the breakfast buffet. We tried the Ala carte breakfast place the other day and decided to give the Buffett a try. It didn’t disappoint at all. Many options for you to choose from. One thing that I have as a staple in the states that was not here was bacon. They have all sorts of ham products but no true bacon. Weird but i understand.
After breakfast we took a stroll down by the water and went in as well. The water here is very calm and very clear. We are on the Pacific Ocean side of the country versus the Caribbean side which is the southern side of the country, versus where we are north and on the Pacific Ocean.
They have collected a few never seen in the states by me seashells. We also saw a string ray up close right near us. Here he is….
There were no white faced monkey outings morning for some reason. We even went around the corner into the cove where we were told they live and saw nothing.
We headed up to our private pool area, which was ins of our free upgrades. There are roughly twenty lounge chairs, our own personal snack stand where they make you a small menu of items. We also have our own private bar. And I can personally tell you that Renee makes a killer Long Island Iced Tea……
Jennifer says she makes an excellent margarita as well.
The weather here is amazing, we are fairly close to the equator so is much warmer then it appears by temperature. In the shade it is absolutely gorgeous, but we can only handle an hour or so at a time directly in the sun. It’s been between 93-95 degrees here, completely sunny and beautiful.
Cheers everyone
