A fair is organized every year on the occasion of his death anniversary, which is known as Bhashani Mela.Every year this fair is organized in the memory of Hamid Khan Bhashani. People from different places participate in this fair.

The fair usually lasts for 7 days. The fair is a joyous occasion, with different types of lighting, people coming and going, and a strange feeling of buying and selling.Yesterday we went to the fair, the whole place was decorated with different flowers and leaves. There were different types of lighting. Usually all kinds of things are bought and sold in the fair such as bangles, garlands, muri, jilapi, khai, also different types of furniture and utensils are available in the fair.

The main attraction is the Nagardola.There were also various types of rides at the fair. Children enjoyed toy trains, boats, sleepers, etc. I was getting ready to ride the Nagordola with my sister and our cousin. At first we bought tickets for four of them. Then we rode the Nagordola. Although there was excitement at first, later a kind of fear started to act among everyone. Because the Nagordola is fun to ride but when it comes down, the chest is heaving.There was a kind of panic among everyone. Everyone was screaming in fear. Finally, after a while, we were let down and we found peace. Even though it was extremely dangerous and scary, I think there was a kind of joyous feeling among everyone.I think it was a great experience to go to the fair and ride the Nagardola.
