1 commentThat "never enough" feeling is exactly how they hook you. It is a total infinite loop where the game is designed to keep you broke so you stay on the attack. I feel that moment when millions of coins disappear in two seconds just for one tiny wall segment. It is like an economy of war where inflation is always winning.
Attacking for coins was basically a second job for me back then. I used to go all out, acting like a total loot thief just to fill the vaults, but it is never enough. You put in a superhuman effort to raid all night, and then one upgrade later you are back at zero. It is a brutal cycle of progress where every win just reveals a more expensive building you cant afford yet.
I havent played in almost a year because of life getting in the way, so I cant really say much about the latest updates. It sounds like the team is doing a solid job though. We are all just stealing from each other in a giant circle. The game design is genius because that scarcity is what makes it addictive, even if it is a massive headache. Glad the devs are keeping it fresh.
