Hello, my lovely friends!

We meet again this morning, the air is fresh and bright. Both inside and outside the house feel energetic and ready for work today. My life begins at 5:00 AM every day. While many are still sleeping soundly, I have to quickly get up and prepare myself as the "house manager and makeshift nurse." 💖 My first and most important task is caring for my bedridden mother. I carefully prepare a suitable breakfast, bathe her, and meticulously attend to her hygiene, because my mother's physical comfort is my main source of motivation.

Besides my mother-in-law, there are also little members of the family waiting for food from me: the Sun Conure parrots and various other bird species that chirp and greet me, as well as my affectionate cat that follows me around. Seeing them eat and sleep soundly in this house makes all my morning fatigue disappear. Each parrot has a different personality; some are affectionate, others are mischievous and need scolding, but they all add color to my mornings, making them anything but dull.

🛵 Spinning the Driver's Boot and Heading to Wang Wiset District

After taking care of the housework and everyone by 7:15 AM, I switched roles to become a strong woman and set off for Wang Wiset District. My heart was beating a little faster than usual today because work called urgently. My husband and I had to hurry to join him. 🔧 Upon arrival, I saw our trusty excavator waiting for service. I acted as his "assistant," handing him tools as he busied himself tightening bolts and repairing various parts. We worked together seamlessly before loading the excavator onto a trailer for our destination: a rubber plantation.

🌴 Rubber Tree Felling Challenge: 300 Baht per Rai

Today's job is to fell rubber trees and dig up the roots. The agreement is 300 baht per rai (for other jobs, we charge 200 baht per hour). Once we agreed, we got to work immediately! 💥
Our job is to fell the rubber trees in an orderly manner so that the logging workers can easily come in and continue their work. My husband and I planned to fell about three rows to ensure the workers have continuous work while we go back to clear up the unfinished work from yesterday.

🎋 Tackling 60-Year-Old Bamboo Clumps: A Challenge Requiring Skill

The task at yesterday's location was challenging due to nine giant bamboo clumps, all over 60 years old. Their size and strength were even greater than a backhoe! Removing these bamboo stumps required both skill and patience. Additionally, there were large trees surrounding the clumps that needed to be cleared.
Originally planned for a new pond, the landowner changed their mind and asked us to dig a boundary instead. This has made today's work faster. We expect the mission at Khao Wiset to be completed by this evening. ✌🏻

Working in the forest, surrounded by nature, is tiring and involves battling the sun. But being with my husband, doing what I'm good at, and knowing my loving family is waiting for me at home is a happiness that nothing can compare to. Before I leave today, here's a picture from yesterday evening while driving home. The sunset was so beautiful! 🥰
