Well, the day of love has passed. However, this time I want to focus on a specific one that came to my mind every time I thought of doing a post: Sono Bisque Doll. The half love half ecchi anime that shows us the relationship between two teenagers, a boy with a passion for sewing and a girl with a passion for cosplay.

Bueno ya pasó el día del amor. Sin embargo, esta vez quiero centrarme en uno de amor en específico que venía a mi mente cada vez que pensaba en hacer un post: Sono Bisque Doll. El anime medio de amor medio ecchi que nos muestra la relación entre dos adolescentes, un chico con una pasión por la costura y una chica con una pasión para el cosplay.

If you have already seen this anime, you may understand me when I refer to it as a love anime that really takes your heart, and if you haven't seen it yet but have seen some of the anime online, you may have seen several racy scenes or even small clips where the animation and drawing is noticeable with some “curious” physics for a weekly anime, which I can't argue with. I watched the anime in one sitting with a friend and I have to admit that there are some awkward moments to watch with someone, but overall it is an anime that fills your heart and shows passion wherever you look, without being too obscene or unrealistic like many ecchi anime. This anime is ecchi but it has a reason to be and everything you see somehow makes sense because of how the story and characters are told.

Si ya han visto este anime, puede que me comprendan cuando me refiero a él como un anime de amor que realmente se lleva tu corazón, y si aún no lo han visto pero han visto algo del anime por internet, es posible que hayan visto varias escenas subidas de tono o incluso pequeños clips dónde la animación y el dibujo se nota con unas físicas “curiosas” para ser un anime semanal, cosa que no puedo discutir. Vi el anime de una sentada con un amigo y tengo que admitir que hay momentos un poco incomodos para ver junto a alguien, pero en líneas generales es un anime que te llena el corazón y que demuestra pasión por dónde sea que se mire, sin llegar a ser muy obsceno de forma innecesaria o irrealista como muchos animes ecchis. Este anime es ecchi pero tiene su razón de ser y todo lo que ves, de alguna forma tiene sentido por cómo te cuentan la historia y sus personajes.

The fact that the anime is shown from the protagonist's perspective is for me a very interesting move, because, although it was criticized at the time, the fact that the protagonist masturbates to see Kitagawa makes him not a “real” protagonist, but rather a different one. I started watching this anime because of this controversy, but it caught my attention that a good anime shows this kind of things, especially from a character as good as Gojo, since most of the time, because of culture, anime don't tend to show this kind of attitudes in their characters.

El hecho de que el anime se nos muestre desde la perspectiva del protagonista es para mí un acierto muy interesante, ya que, aunque fue criticado en su momento, que el protagonista se masturbe por ver a Kitagawa lo hace un protagonista no “real”, sino más bien diferente. Empecé a ver este anime por esa polémica, pero es que me llamó la atención que un buen anime muestre este tipo de cosas y sobre todo de un personaje tan bueno como lo es Gojo, ya que la mayoría del tiempo, por cultura, los animes no tienden a llegar ese tipo de actitudes en sus personajes.

However, just to talk about the ecchi and racy scenes of the show would be a huge detraction. As I said, anyone who has seen the series knows that sono bisque doll is much more than an ecchi anime, it is also a very romantic anime that also shows with great respect the passion of its two main characters, which makes you not only want to see the protagonists succeed in their relationship (which has so much chemistry that it goes beyond the screen) but also succeed in their field, in modeling, cosplay and sewing.

Sin embargo, solo hablar de las escenas subidas de tono y el tono ecchi de la obra sería desmeritarla de forma gigantesca. Como ya dije, quien haya visto la serie sabe que sono bisque doll es mucho más que un anime ecchi, es también un anime muy romántico y que además muestra con mucho respeto la pasión de sus dos protagonistas, lo que hace que no solo quieras ver a los protagonistas triunfar en su relación (que tiene tanta química que se pasa de la pantalla) sino también triunfar en su rubro, en el modelaje, el cosplay y la costura.
