Goofy Green Shape
Alright, here it is: the final piece for this batch of the doodle magic drawing challenge. This last shape was a big, blocky lime green sharped edges that looked like... well, nothing really just getting some random ideas really. It was super abstract, so I decided to just embrace the weirdness and create a creature that looked just as random as the original shape hahaha.
I used the main body of the shape to form a kind of crooked head and neck. That little cutout arch on the bottom became the perfect spot for a goofy little mouth with tiny jagged teeth. Wait did I make a janitor fish? I kept the bright green and gave him some huge, confused eyes and a spiky gray hair or fins? just for extra silliness.
This drawing totally shows off the graphic, stylized art look I go for. It’s all about creating a fun silhouette with bold colors and clean edges with no fancy blending at all. Even when the result is a bit random, the process of finding a character in a simple shape is what makes these challenges so much fun. What do you guys think of this final, quirky monster?
Here is the reference image or shape which looks like a shoe don't you think? I could have made it into a shoe but would not fit the rest of my previous creations.
Hope you guys got inspired and would want to give this challenge a try.
