The other day we read a sad news, a passing of an young athlete. Yesterday, my youngest was telling me a sad news that one of his friend's brother, passed away. I asked him whether the brother was an athlete, and yep 2 differ news, but about the same young boy 🫤

Let's just share a recipe! Something nice, something sweet...but do hugs your loved ones a little tighter today ❤️
1 c unsalted butter
1 1/4 c flour
1/2 c icing sugar
1/4 c cornstarch
1 cap peppermint essence
Peppermint hard candies
Semi sweet chocolate chips
Mix dry ingredients in a bowl
Cream butter for 3-5 minutes then stir in peppermint essence, followed with dry ingredients. Knead into a log
Wrap dough and chill at 2 H if not overnight. Dough can also be frozen.
Slice and bake on preheated 300 F for 30 minutes
Cool completely
Meanwhile, crush some hard peppermint candies
Melt enough chocolate chips, dip one side of the cookies, and sprinkle with crushed candies
Let chocolate harden before storing
