Recientemente tuve el inmenso placer de reunirme con mi hija, su esposo, sus suegros y mis nietos para disfrutar un gran momento familiar en un restaurante ubicado en Maracay/Edo Aragua llamado “Carne en vara 2 Patrias”.

Today I am back with you to share a wonderful family moment.

I recently had the immense pleasure of getting together with my daughter, her husband, her in-laws, and my grandchildren to enjoy a wonderful family moment at a restaurant located in Maracay, Aragua State, called “Carne en vara 2 Patrias".

Fue un momento perfecto para celebrar la unión y el afecto entre tres generaciones. En ese restaurante, disfrutamos de una deliciosa “COMELONA” con platos típicos que nos deleitaron a todos, desde cachapas con queso de mano, hasta mondongo acompañado de bollitos de chicharrón y chicharrón frito.
Para beber ordenamos 2 jarras de papelón con limón.

It was the perfect moment to celebrate the bond and affection between three generations. At that restaurant, we enjoyed a delicious feast with traditional dishes that delighted us all, from cachapas with handmade cheese to mondongo accompanied by chicharrón rolls and fried chicharrón.
To drink, we ordered two pitchers of papelón with lemon.

Pero más que la comida, lo más valioso fue el momento compartido, las risas y las charlas fluidas entre todos los presentes, realmente disfrutamos mucho en esa mesa.
El restaurante cuenta con un parque infantil muy bonito, pero con unas normas que debimos cumplir…

But more than the food, the most valuable thing was the time spent together, the laughter, and the lively conversation among everyone present. We really enjoyed ourselves at that table.
The restaurant has a very nice playground, but with rules that we had to follow...

Fuimos con los niños al parque, mi nieto entró corriendo y de inmediato comenzó a disfrutar de sus instalaciones, pero mi nieta es tan alta a pesar de que solo tiene 6 años, superó la estatura máxima permitida, lo que le causó un poco de decepción y enojo.

We went to the park with the children. My grandson ran in and immediately began to enjoy the facilities, but my granddaughter is so tall, even though she is only 6 years old, that she exceeded the maximum height allowed, which caused her a little disappointment and anger.

Su reacción fue salir corriendo muy enojada a sentarse sola en una de las mesas del restaurante, a pesar de su enojo nunca lloró.
Hablamos con uno de los encargados del restaurante explicándole la decepción que tenía esa niña de solo 6 años, se sonrió y la dejó ingresar al parque.
Todo cambió para ella cuando le dimos la noticia que si podía entrar al parque a disfrutar con su hermano, salió corriendo y de inmediato comenzó a disfrutar de las instalaciones, gracias a esa excepción que tuvieron para con ella.

Her reaction was to run away very angry and sit alone at one of the tables in the restaurant. Despite her anger, she never cried.
We spoke to one of the restaurant managers, explaining how disappointed the 6-year-old girl was. He smiled and let her into the park.
Everything changed for her when we told her she could go into the park to enjoy herself with her brother. She ran off and immediately began to enjoy the facilities, thanks to the exception they made for her.

Ahora mi niña adorada estaba muy feliz, y hasta su abuelo paterno entró al parque para ver como se divertían sus nietos.

Now my beloved daughter was very happy, and even her paternal grandfather came into the park to see how his grandchildren were enjoying themselves.

“Más que una “Comelona” este día fue una celebración de la familia, un recordatorio de la alegría que brindan estos encuentros compartidos y hoy fue entre tres generaciones.
Ver a mi nieta disfrutar en el parque, junto a su hermano y el abuelo, a pesar de los imprevistos, fue el verdadero regalo del día. Estos momentos de conexión y alegría quedan grabados en mi corazón para toda la vida”.

More than just a feast, this day was a celebration of family, a reminder of the joy that these shared gatherings bring, and today it was between three generations.
Seeing my granddaughter enjoying herself in the park, alongside her brother and grandfather, despite the unexpected events, was the real gift of the day. These moments of connection and joy will remain etched in my heart for the rest of my life.

El restaurante además de ser muy bonito, con una decoración no muy común, (todo en madera, con muchos colores), en las paredes presenta publicidad de distintos negocios de la zona, cuenta con una excelente atención y los precios son asequibles, por lo que sin dudarlo lo recomendaría y espero volver a visitarlo en otra ocasión.

The restaurant is not only very beautiful, with unusual décor (all wood, with lots of colors), but also has advertisements for different local businesses on the walls. The service is excellent and the prices are affordable, so I would definitely recommend it and hope to visit again on another occasion.

De volver, me gustaría probar la carne en vara específicamente con una ensalada cesar.

Hasta aquí mis queridos amigos este relato muy emotivo para mí, ya que no tengo cerca a mi hija ni a mis nietos, cuando tenemos la dicha de vernos los disfruto al máximo.
