Engagement is key on Hive because it is not just a social platform, it is an ecosystem built on interaction.

On Hive, you don’t grow by posting alone. You grow by connecting. When you comment on someone’s blog, you are not just leaving words behind. You are starting a conversation. That conversation builds relationships, and relationships are the foundation of long-term success on the platform.

Engagement strengthens communities. Whether you are active in photography, cycling, finance, or creative writing, communities thrive when members interact. A blog without comments feels empty. A blog with meaningful discussion feels alive.

Blogs light the spark. Engagement fuels the fire.

Topcomment is a community-driven curation initiative that rewards meaningful engagement on Hive.
The Topcomment curators manually upvotes high-quality comments that add value, insight, or thoughtful discussion to a post. Every upvote is reviewed to prevent abuse and keep standards high.

We upvote using the voting power of the @topcomment account. At the moment, Topcomment does not have a large amount of HP, so we rely on the support of the community to continue rewarding quality comments. Every bit of support helps us give back more.

We have already received a significant number of delegations, which allows us to distribute more rewards. But we aim to grow even further to increase our impact.

Three ways how you can support Topcomment

There are several ways you can support this initiative. And every contribution makes a difference!

Further on in this blog we will explain how to support us step-by-step.

1. Delegations

On Hive, delegating means temporarily lending your Hive Power (HP) to another account without giving up ownership. Your HP stays yours at all times, but the receiving account can use the voting power that comes with it.

By delegating HP, you strengthen the voting influence of the account you support. This allows that account to distribute larger upvotes and generate more curation rewards.

Topcomment returns 80% of the curation rewards generated through delegated Hive Power to delegators, paid out daily in liquid HIVE. This way, you both support meaningful engagement and receive a share of the rewards.

2. Following our trail

Trail following is a feature on Hive that allows you to automatically vote along with another account. You can choose at what percentage of Voting Power you follow the trail and how many votes it may give on a daily and weekly basis. When you follow the @topcomment trail and your Voting Power is above the configured value, you will upvote the comments our curators upvote as well.
This way the comments will get your support under your conditions and you'll get the full curation rewards yourself.

3. Upvoting our posts and comments

Topcomment publishes a weekly delegation reports (#topcommentreport) and sometimes some other posts as well. All the author rewards will be used to grow the stake of the Topcomment account.
Give the Topcomment account a follow to keep updated. You can also use the notification bell (in Peakd) on top of this blog to get a notification for new blogs.
Besides upvotes, we really appreciate it when you reblog our posts.
It helps give our project more visibility.

Delegating via Front Ends

1. Go to the wallet page in your front end and click the pulldown menu next to your stake

Los curadores de Topcomment votan manualmente comentarios de alta calidad que aportan valor, ideas o una discusión reflexiva a una publicación. Cada voto positivo es revisado para evitar abusos y mantener altos estándares.
Votamos utilizando el poder de voto de la cuenta @topcomment. En este momento, Topcomment no tiene una gran cantidad de HP, por lo que dependemos del apoyo de la comunidad para seguir recompensando comentarios de calidad. Cada muestra de apoyo nos ayuda a devolver más a la comunidad.

1. Delegaciones

En Hive, delegar significa prestar temporalmente tu Hive Power (HP) a otra cuenta sin renunciar a la propiedad. Tu HP siempre sigue siendo tuyo, pero la cuenta que lo recibe puede usar el poder de voto que viene con él.
Al delegar HP, fortaleces la influencia de voto de la cuenta que apoyas. Esto permite que esa cuenta distribuya votos positivos más grandes y genere más recompensas de curación.
Topcomment devuelve el 80% de las recompensas de curación generadas mediante Hive Power delegada a los delegadores, pagadas diariamente en HIVE líquido. De esta manera apoyas la participación significativa y al mismo tiempo recibes una parte de las recompensas.

2. Seguir nuestro trail

Seguir un trail es una función en Hive que te permite votar automáticamente junto con otra cuenta. Puedes elegir con qué porcentaje de Voting Power sigues el trail y cuántos votos puede emitir diariamente y semanalmente. Cuando sigues el trail de @topcomment y tu Voting Power está por encima del valor configurado, también votarás los comentarios que nuestros curadores voten.
De esta forma los comentarios recibirán tu apoyo bajo tus propias condiciones y tú obtendrás todas las recompensas de curación.

3. Votar nuestras publicaciones y comentarios

Topcomment publica un informe semanal de delegaciones (#topcommentreport) y a veces algunas otras publicaciones también. Todas las recompensas de autor se utilizarán para aumentar el stake de la cuenta Topcomment.
Sigue la cuenta Topcomment para mantenerte actualizado. También puedes usar la campana de notificaciones (en Peakd) en la parte superior de este blog para recibir una notificación cuando publiquemos nuevos blogs.
Además de los votos positivos, realmente apreciamos cuando haces reblog de nuestras publicaciones.
