Original photo, no filter. Thought I caught this one just right. Loving the grey fence backdrop it's helping promote the bright purple flowers. The green leaves mixed in make for a bouquet of flowers if you will. I could have reached down and picked a couple of daisies and brought them into the mix for the aesthetics. Something about having solid backdrops when it comes to taking high quality shots. If I were to write a manual on where to start it would have something in there along those lines. If you're super cluttered and there's too much going on then how are you really going to capture something of value? Ask yourself this when it's time to focus in as you get in shots.
