As Korean pop culture is receiving great attention through Netflix animation "K-Pop Demon Hunters" (Kedeheon), more and more Americans are trying to learn Korean.
As the demand for Korean language increases, several universities across the U.S., including UC Berkeley and the University of Arkansas, are increasing Korean language and culture-related courses. The number of Korean learners in the U.S. increased by 22 percent last year compared to the previous year in the foreign language learning app "Duoringo." Likewise, language institutes are also hiring Korean language instructors.

Several Korean pop culture forces, including the group BTS (BTS), which has established itself as a world star in name and reality, and Bong Joon-ho's Parasite, seem to have influenced it.
