#pic1000: A quiet kind of strength
Hello Freewriters.
I looked at #pic1000 and immediately felt tenderness.
Not because the little one looks helpless, but because something feels familiar.
That face. That pause. That way of lying still while the world carries on around you. We all know that feeling. The need to pull back for a moment. Not forever. Just long enough to hear yourself again.
So what I see is a small animal resting on a piece of wood, wrapped in its own silence. And what I feel is something softer and deeper. Recognition.
You know, we do not always need a grand old big massive life shattering reason to stop. Sometimes the body knows before the mind does. Sometimes the wisest thing we can do is rest before we continue.
That’s what this image says to me.
