Wampiric Rites
Working on my solo TTRPG Beyond the Bleak Forest, I've drawn from a lot of Black Metal and Dungeon Synth sources for inspiration. I mean, if you have a fantasy role playing game about ominous positivity, those just seem like obvious sources of inspiration. Wampiric Rites, a band out of Ecuador does a sort of raw black metal and dungeon synth mix that really captures the feel for what I'm trying to achieve in Beyond the Bleak Forest.
I think out of all their albums, I'd have to recommend Summoning the Beast in the Light of the Lycanthropic Moon. Yeah, it's a bit overwrought and dramatic, but that's what I've come to appreciate about the musical styling of black metal and dungeon synth. Anyway, I highly recommend the album. Go check them out oun Bandcamp:https://wampyricrites1.bandcamp.com/. Support indie artists. Cheers and happy gaming!
