These aren't grand overhauls; they're micro-habits that compound like interest in your Hive wallet.
Controlling your life starts with controlling the small things you repeat every day.When you take charge of your 7 M’s-Mind, Mouth, Moves, Morning, Meal, Money, and Mood,you slowly shape a better future for yourself.In simple terms, this is about living on purpose instead of just living by accident.These are just basic principles of life,not rocket 🚀 science.
As Socrates said in one of his works:"An unexamined life is not worth living".
Let us break them down with actionable steps to get us started today.
• Mind:Guard Your Thoughts.
Your life moves in the direction of your strongest thoughts.If your thoughts are always negative, fearful, or doubtful, your actions will follow that same direction.Feed your mind with positive, inspiring, and faith-filled content.Question every limiting thought.“Is this really true, or is it just fear?” Spend a few minutes daily reflecting, reading, or praying to reset your inner focus.When your mind is calm and focused,your decisions become clearer and your path becomes straighter.
• Mouth:Watch Your Words.
Your mouth can build your life or break it.Many people cancel their own progress by the way they speak about themselves and their future.Avoid speaking failure over your life: I can’t, It’s impossible, Nothing works for me. Practice speaking life: I’m learning, I’m growing, Better days are ahead. Be careful how you talk to others; words can heal or wound, encourage or discourage.When you control your words,you control the atmosphere around you and the image you create for yourself.
• Moves:Direct Your Actions.
Your “moves” are your choices,habits and daily actions.Talent and prayers are good, but without wise actions, little will change.Choose actions that match your goals: reading, learning, building skills, showing up.Drop actions that drag you backwards: endless scrolling, gossip, procrastination.Remember that small consistent actions beat big, rare efforts.Every move you make either takes you closer to your purpose or pulls you further away.
• Morning:Start Your Day Right.
How you start your day often sets the tone for everything that follows.A scattered morning usually leads to a scattered day.Wake up with a simple plan: the top 2 to 3 things you must do today.Avoid starting your day with chaos on your phone; give your mind a quiet start.Use a few minutes to pray, stretch, read, or reflect before the noise begins.A disciplined morning gives you strength and clarity for whatever the day brings.
• Meal:Respect Your Body.
What you eat is fuel for your body and brain. What am I thinking?
What am I saying?
What am I doing?
How am I starting my day?
What am I feeding my body?
How am I handling my money?
How am I managing my emotions?
