Something new this year.

Imagine that you get the same birthday present every year, but regardless, you always enjoy it and always find a little intrigue, something new.

So, this year, as in previous years, I witnessed a snowy winter and the melting snow.

I saw the arrival of spring, the first flowers blooming, and the bees beginning their flight.

I smelled the scent of lilacs and peonies and heard the summer heat knocking on the door.

Cold ice cream and soft drinks delighted me as much as ever, and mango slices in sherbet were a pleasant surprise.

With the arrival of autumn, I again saw the leaves of the trees turning yellow and falling, and yesterday I saw the first momrose bring me a gift of sparkling frost.
